In Episode 12, we will see Cait and Kala battling against each other for the spot opening in Kelly's team. According to the clip released, Cait will be seen performing Whitney Houston's 'All The Man That I Need', while Kala will sing The Goo Goo Dolls' 'Iris' during the knockout. The performance of both budding singers was electrifying. Kelly got up from her seat and cheered as Cait turned heads around with her soulful voice. Chance the Rapper claimed after Cait's performance, "That was crazy, she's got that Whitney tone."
Then came Kala thrilling everyone with her soft tones. The judges went speechless as they listened to Kala's performance. She left the panelists in shock and in confusion wondering who did the better job. Kelly said, 'Im' so angry. You both did such a great job." Well, Blake seems to have his head clear. Without any hesitation he said, "Kala was very passionate, performance, emotion in there and a lot of dynamics. So, I'll be going with Kala."
Niall also went ahead with Kala. he agreed with the fact that Cait's performance has the essence of Whitney in it. However, the judge claimed, "Kala, your storytelling ability was just instance and that's what I lean towards. So, Kala for me." However, the only judge who didn't choose Kala was Chance the Rapper. This left Kelly in confusion. However, there is a high possibility that Kala will be the one who will win the knockout round.
'No one is giving Cait the credit she deserves'
Seeing almost all the judges lean towards Kala, a fan commented, "I feel like no one is giving Cait the credit she deserves. Her performance was perfect in my opinion."
