‘The Circle’ Season 4: Mel B and Emma Bunton revealed to be celebrity catfish

The new season of ‘The Circle’ is back with the first four episodes. More catfishing, drama, money, and surprises are on the horizon for these competitors who are playing for the chance to win the ultimate cash prize as a top influencer. The showrunners of Season 4 had promised its “spiciest” season ever.

When the trailer for the new season of Netflix’s social media reality competition series was revealed, it teased the arrival of the Spice Girls. While we didn’t know for sure, the footage promised "a lot more spice" with an image of the Union Jack flag for added emphasis, which really can only mean one thing, right? All of our suspicions turned out to be right as Mel B and Emma Bunton are officially joining ‘The Circle’ as celebrity catfish.

At the end of Episode one, Frank who becomes an influencer gets additional power to choose a new contestant to join the show. He is shown the profile of 28-year-old Jared, a children’s author, and 24-year-old Trey, an aspiring fashion designer. Frank chooses Jared, however to the viewer's shock, it is revealed that Jared would be catfished by none other than the popstars Mel B and Emma Bunton.

Both the singers reveal that they are massive fans of the show and are thrilled to be part of it. They are also accompanied by Mel B’s adorable dog cookie. What’s interesting is that rest of the contestants are unaware of their participation. The singers are also given a special mission where it is revealed that if both of them are undetected by the rest of the cast, the prize money will be increased. Will the Spice girls succeed in their mission and will the rest of the contestants ever find out that they are playing alongside the legendary popstars? Stay tuned to ‘The Circle’ to find out.
