'The Bachelorette' 2022: Fans excited to see Grandpa John, ask for him to be the host of senior 'Bachelor'
If you anticipated that having two leads on 'The Bachelorette' would be cause for chaos, then you were certainly right, seeing that between cancelled cocktail parties and season villains, a lot is currently going down. It's safe to say that for Gabby and Rachel, their journey so far has already had its fair share of hurdles.
The women are plenty clear that they are looking for their future husbands, seeing that Rachel was quick to send Jordan V home, when she realised they didn't have the chemistry she wanted, even though they were a good match. And while Gabby has had better luck on her one on ones, a surprise guest was all set to make it even better!

While Grandpa John joined Erich and Gabby on their date at the bowling alley, he joked about not having a date. Gabby, being as proactive as ever, managed to find him a date as well -- a woman named Julie. The double date was fun to watch, with Gabby glad that Erich was rising up to the occasion and blending right in. Fans were convinced that Grandpa John and Julie might be trying to pitch the Senior 'Bachelor' to fans, and they were all for it. "The future hosts of senior bachelor #TheBachelorette #bachelorette" tweeted a fan. "If Grandpa John and Julie are here to sell us on the Senior Bachelor #TheBachelorette" said another.
