'The Bachelorette' 2022: Rachel sends Jordan V home after first date, fans say she's a 'very boring bachelorette'
Having not one, but two 'Bachelorette' this season has certainly been cause for concern, especially since the show has not changed the format so far. But, it looks like Gabby and Rachel have a rather strong friendship that might just be able to withstand the drama that comes with the show. Unfortunately, so far, Rachel has felt as though she's been everyone's second choice
One of the men that seemed to hit it off with Rachel instantly was Jordan V. Seeing that he is a racecar driver and she is a pilot, they both bonded immediately, and even had fans gushing about how they made a cute power couple. But, it looks like the spark between them fizzled out real quick.

Jordan V and Rachel set out on a date that seemed perfect for the two -- they drove to an airport and then later had a zero gravity experience. The date seemed to go pretty well until it came to the evening when the pair geared up to attend a concert together. Midway through the conversation, Rachel left her seat and spoke to production on the side, stating that while Jordan V was a great guy, she could not see a future with him at all. This came entirely out of the blue, but it seemed as though Rachel made up her mind, leading her to end the date midway, as she asked Jordan V to leave. With no other option, Jordan V was sent packing, while Rachel maintained that while he was a great guy, she could not see him as her future husband.
"JUST SAY IT YOU ARE MISSING THE PHYSICAL CONNECTION WITH JORDAN. Why did Rachel says all that scripted BS just to drop them but.. #TheBachelorette" said a fan. ""I wanted to like him a lot but I know it's not him." Wow this went south fast. I thought Jordan was perfect for her. The heart wants what it wants. Apparently it doesn't want the cute racecar driver? #TheBachelorette" added another. "I’m CRUSHED rn…Jordan was a good egg #TheBachelorette" tweeted another.

And while fans were upset over what happened, it raised the bigger question as to the show's current format -- would Gabby and Rachel not be consulting each other before eliminations? It looks like that might not be the case. "Well I hope Gabby wasn’t into Jordan at all #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. "i dont like that gabby is stepping around eggshells for rachel who's been a very boring bachelorette so far #TheBachelorette" added another. "So, what happens if Rachel sent home someone Gabby is interested in? I’m confusion. I never want two people sharing the lead again. #TheBachelorette" said a fan.
