Jenelle Evans is upset after learning that her mother, Barbara, has warned other teen mom girls not to become like Jenelle. On July 31, Sunday, the former teen mom 2 star appeared to answer Babs' blabs with a post on Instagram and TikTok, stating that her mother - with whom she had reconciled after a period of separation - is "toxic." She captioned, "And I just keep my mouth shut 😞 I have been the happiest I've ever been in my life. It sucks when none of your accomplishments are acknowledged.. especially by your own mom."
Few social media celebrities immediately responded to Jenelle's post on Instagram. Ayla Jalyn wrote, "Verified Being silence speaks volumes!!" Dawson Day wrote, "I’m sorry!" Jenelle's followers also have shared their love for her post. One user wrote, "Just keep progressing. No matter who on the outside sees. You know the progress you made." According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, an Instagram clip released audio of Barbara purportedly urging the 'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' girls to be careful with how they spend their MTV paychecks. She told them not to spend it on their boyfriends, and to not let fame change who they are. Barbara Evans, the former 'Teen Mom 2' grandma, recently shared these words of wisdom, citing her own daughter, Jenelle Evans, as a cautionary tale.
“ … make sure– listen to me, I’m gonna give you advice– do not get sucked into this fame and do not, no seriously, do not blow your money,” Barbara can be heard saying in the background of the video. “ … Do not get sucked into fame, because it will ruin your life.” She added, “ …even Jenelle, she spent so much money buying cars, boats, everything for her boyfriends, what are you f**king NUTS? Ya know, taking trips,” Barbara says.
Jenelle has failed to find work since being sacked from MTV in 2019, despite repeated tries. She was supposed to start two podcasts, GirlS**t and The Jenelle Evans Podcast, but neither of them took off. She also tried her hand as a social media influencer without success, but she finally found a consistent source of income when she joined OnlyFans, where she earns an estimated $3,000 each month, MONSTERS and CRITICS reported.
