Jenelle Evans slammed for 'harsh treatment' after refusing to share chips with 5-year-old daughter
'Teen Mom 2' alum Jenelle Evans has previously sparked debate about her parenting methods. Jenelle, 30, has ruffled feathers once more by sharing a new video in which she ignores her daughter Ensley's request for food.
The reality star recently posted a TikTok review of a local sandwich shop in Wilmington, North Carolina. In the video, Jenelle puts the phone camera over the steering wheel so she could talk while eating. Her five-year-old daughter Ensley could be seen in the background listening to her mother's update.

"Hey, y'all! Good morning, good afternoon," she says in the beginning. "I went to a new deli today, and I went and picked up some sandwiches while David took Maryssa to the dentist, and we're gonna try it," Jenelle explains while picking up her to-go lunch box.
The reality star then opens the package to reveal a large sandwich cut into fourths and topped with a bag of Lay's potato chips. "I got a turkey club, look at how delicious this looks, oh my god," she gushes.
Ensley's cries of "Mommy, mommy, mommy!" can be heard in the background as Jenelle continues, "I'm so excited." Looking over her mother's shoulder, the little girl begs, "Mommy, I want some chips too."
The 'Teen Mom' alum replies, "Okay, you can have some of mine," but then starts eating on her own without feeding her daughter. She devours the turkey club in one gulp, leaving mayonnaise all over her face.
Jenelle then grins at the camera and says, "This is from Cousin's Diner in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina; it's delicious!" Meanwhile, her daughter pleads for food in the background, calling out, "Mommy!". "I drove by it for years and never went in," Jenelle goes on, dismissing Ensley's request.
"It's fantastic. I'm so sick of Subway and all these other fake sandwich places," she continues, grabbing a napkin to wipe her face. "That was wrong," she laughs.
Fans, however, were not amused by Jenelle's behavior and accused her of failing to feed her infant before indulging in her own meal.
"Ensley asking for chips and naturally mother of the year ignores her request and eats first!!" one wrote on Reddit while re-sharing the post to get the conversation started.
"But why did she not order something or at least share the sandwich........." a second complained.
"That poor little girl….UGH if only that first judge on that CPS case stayed and she woulda stayed with Barb," a third wrote, reminding others about when Ensley lived with her grandmother.
"Say what you want about Barb but at least Ensley looked like she ATE REGULARLY," they added.
A fourth noted: "As soon as Ensley wanted the chips, you can see Jeanelle's face. She has no intention of sharing, which is evident again after the HUGE first bite she takes. This is so freakin' sad for Ensley."
"Awww poor kiddo. What a punka** mom," another trolled.
"Why does she share videos of such harsh treatment and then complain we say she's horrible? Poor Ensley just wanted some chips!" another fumed.
