‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ on AMC: Plot, cast, date and latest buzz around post-apocalyptic horror series
Apocalyptic horror has burgeoned in popularity over the last few years. AMC pioneered the explosion of the genre over a decade ago with the hugely popular series, 'The Walking Dead.' 12 years later, the series is still running and remains a hit. The zombie apocalypse horror thriller has - quite rightly - ballooned into a franchise with several spinoffs. AMC is finally bringing to viewers its highly anticipated latest spin-off, ‘Tales of the Walking Dead.'
The series depicts a post-apocalyptic universe where survivors turn into zombies who give the remaining humans a run for their lives. Before ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ releases in August 2022, audiences can try other apocalyptic horror stories like ‘Y: The Last Man’, ‘The Last of Us’, and ‘Zomboat’ to get a taste of the genre.
