LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After the dramatic conclusion of 'Snowpiercer' Season 3, fans are speculating about who will take on the antagonist's role in the upcoming season.

With the death of LJ Folger, 'Snowpiercer' bids farewell to one of its major villains from past seasons.

As the train hurtles toward new horizons, the absence of LJ, Wilford's banishment, and the death of other troublemakers like Kevin and Pike leave a significant void in the hierarchy aboard 'Snowpiercer'.

The Season 3 finale marked a turning point as the train split between Melanie Cavill's loyalists and Andre Layton's followers bound for New Eden, leaving questions about who will emerge as the new force to reckon with amid the fragile balance of power.

With Snowpiercer Season 4 poised to deliver more gripping developments and heart-pounding action, the trailer hints at new challenges and adversaries that will test the limits of survival in this relentless frozen world.

Clark Gregg's arrival shakes up 'Snowpiercer' Season 4 with a fresh antagonistic force

Paul Zbyszewski leads 'Snowpiercer' Season 4 as showrunner, premiering the 10-episode final season exclusively on AMC+ on July 21st, with all previous seasons available for streaming.

Clark Gregg's addition to 'Snowpiercer' hints at him taking on an antagonist role in Season 4.

Known for his versatility, Gregg's character blends villainy and humanity, reminiscent of his portrayal as the sinister Coulson in the sixth season of Agents of SHIELD.

In 'Snowpiercer', Gregg's character is poised to disrupt the established order aboard the perpetually moving train.

Additionally, according to showrunner Paul Zbyszewski, Milius (Clark Gregg) introduces a fresh antagonistic flavor distinct from previous characters like Wilford or the Jackboots.

Drawing from Gregg's versatile range, including his portrayal of Phil Coulson in Agents of SHIELD, Milius embodies a structured and authoritative military presence, escalating the conflict to new heights on the show.

Zbyszewski praises Gregg's talent and his ability to bring depth to Milius, emphasizing the emotional underpinnings behind his character's actions.

His role promises to shake up the dynamics of 'Snowpiercer', presenting a formidable challenge to the protagonists while also revealing intriguing facets of his character's motivations and backstory.

In the finale of 'Snowpiercer' Season 3, LJ Folger met a shocking end when she accidentally choked on her late father Robert's artificial eyeball.

As Wilford's loyal supporter and surrogate daughter, LJ believed she would regain power alongside him.

However, after Wilford's banishment, LJ remained on 'Snowpiercer', hoping to overthrow Melanie, whom she considered her arch-enemy.

Her death came with a twist of poetic justice, as she choked on the same eyeball she had initially poked out.

With LJ's death, 'Snowpiercer' found itself without the villains who had driven much of the conflict over the first three seasons.

By the end of Season 3, Wilford was banished, Kevin was dead by LJ's hand, and Pike had been killed by Layton, leaving the train free of its most notorious troublemakers.

LJ's death was particularly ironic, given that her initial murder spree had prompted Melanie to elevate Layton from the Tail and appoint him as Train Detective.

Fans were left wondering who the new antagonist would be, but Clark Gregg's debut as Admiral Milius has amazed them, eagerly anticipating the next chapter of conflict aboard the train.
