LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The highly anticipated second season of ‘Sweet Tooth’ has finally arrived on Netflix and takes us deeper into the magical world of hybrid creatures that might turn out to be very important in finding the cure for a disease that has killed many people. Season 2 of the beloved Netflix series is much darker than the first one and sees Dr. Aditya Singh (Adeel Akhtar) doing everything and anything to find the cure while the Big Man travels to extreme lengths to save Gus (Christian Convery) who has been captured by General Abbot.

As the season progresses, we finally get to know about Abbot’s ambitions and how he wants to create a place like ‘Evergreen’ where The Sick won’t be allowed. This will be a safe haven for those who have been injected with the cure. Season 2 of ‘Sweet Tooth’ is not just a fantasy series, it also shows how society works nowadays. It is filled with extraordinary and gritty themes such as propaganda, betrayal, truth, and identity.

Season 2 finds Gus and every major character in a 'dilemma'

The first season of the Netflix series was a gigantic success and went on to become the number-one show in several countries. So, the show getting renewed for a second season didn’t come as a shock. However, fans are literally astonished that the streaming platform dropped Season 2 of such a successful show without any proper promotion. Social media users went on to slam the streamer for zero build-ups for a show like ‘Sweet Tooth’.

Fans believe the show 'might' get canceled after zero promotion

One of the fans said, “Did Netflix just stealth-drop Sweet Tooth season 2?? I swear there were zero buildups or advertising like they seriously want one of their best-ever shows to fail.” Another social media user tweeted, “Sweet Tooth Season 2 is out Seems like they shadow dropped it” Another fan noted, “Starting season 2 of Sweet Tooth! Already worried it’s going to be canceled after this season since there was absolutely no promotion for the new season coming out today.” Another social media user wrote, “Wait a damn minute... I am CURRENTLY watching and browsing Netflix and receiving ZERO notices or info about Sweet Tooth Season 2 being out.”

“How am I just finding out that season 2 of Sweet Tooth is now streaming?” wrote another user. “They were really sneaky with the season 2 drop of Sweet Tooth on Netflix,” tweeted another user.

This is not the first time Netflix has been slammed for not promoting a big series appropriately.

Now that the fans have found out that ‘Sweet Tooth’ is back, they are flocking to the streaming platform to binge the entire season. Also, fans don’t need to worry about the cancellation of the show because the way Season 2 has ended, we can definitely say that the show will be returning for another edition.
