LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Sweet Tooth', a post-apocalyptic fiction show on Netflix, is one of the most successful and well-received shows. The show, based on Jeff Lemire's comic book series, is set to return for the second season, with the story continuing to show how Gus, a young boy who is a deer/human hybrid, and his fellow hybrids who've been held captive by General Abbot will gain new strength as they look into the root causes of the Great Crumble.
Warner Bros Television is producing the second season of 'Sweet Tooth' like the first season. Jim Mickle is serving as director, writer, showrunner, and executive producer for the show. What is 'Sweet Tooth' Season 2 about?
'Sweet Tooth' Season 2 will follow Gus, a human-deer hybrid born during one of history's most catastrophic times, as he tries to navigate a post-apocalyptic world with his human and hybrid friends. Season 2 begins immediately after Season 1, with General Abbot and the Last Men incarcerating Gus and his fellow hybrids. Abbot, in hopes of establishing power, uses the children as fodder for the experimental tests of captive Dr Aditya Singh, who is racing to save his diseased wife Rani.
Gus agrees to assist Dr Singh in the interest of safeguarding his friends, thus starting a dark journey into his origins and his mother Birdie's role in the events leading up to the Great Crumble. Gus and his fellow hybrids try to flee General Abbott's facility while learning more about their roots and what the future may hold for them. Gus sets out on a risky mission to find his mother with the help of Jepperd, but their journey is fraught with hurdles and life-threatening dangers.
Gus, Jepperd, and their allies quickly realize that there is more to their world than they ever imagined possible as they find their way through a world full of hybrid creatures, dangerous factions, and unpredictable weather. Season 2 promises even more heart-pounding action and adrenaline-pumping thrills as the stakes rise and the plot thickens.
