'RHOP' star Mia Thornton dubs Incognito 'favorite love story' following ex-Gordon Thornton's bipolar diagnosis
WASHINGTON, DC: Mia Thornton is sporting an unmistakable 'I'm in love' smile on in new photos with her boyfriend, Incognito. Meanwhile, 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' star recently bestowed a renowned title on her current lover months after revealing ex-Gordon Thornton's bipolar illness to Bravo viewers.
On Sunday, June 2, Mia took to Instagram to share several photos featuring her boyfriend, Incognito, aka Inc. The couple appeared to have graced the red carpet for an event in Washington, DC, looking their sharpest.
As Mia rocked a bodycon red wine outfit, Inc made sure to complement his beau in a black suit with an equal shade of red pocket square. The series of pictures was also accompanied by a short clip in which Inc holds the door as Mia boards a hummer.
Months after hard launching Inc on her Instagram (even though her handle includes her last name from her previous marriage) in December, Mia captioned the post, "my favorite Love story. @datboyinc ♥️ MiAmor."
Mia had earlier gushed about her new beau during the 'RHOP' Season 8 Reunion. Additionally, she addressed her ex, Gordon's bipolar diagnosis, and how she continues to provide care for him.

Despite Mia's statement to PEOPLE stating that she and Gordon had "separated" in the fall of 2023, on Season 8, Episode 18 of 'RHOP', she claimed in a confessional that they first split up in July 2023.
"No one knew," she said. "Is [Gordon] hurt? Yeah, he doesn’t want me to divorce him. He doesn’t want me to stay with him…"
One of the contentious topics in Mia and Gordon's marriage has been their current financial difficulties. Mia has previously addressed this by stating that she was "with Gordon for financial reasons." In the Season 8 finale, she reiterated that financial issues were not the reason for ending her relationship with Gordon.
"If I were to be leaving my marriage because of financial reasons – I would’ve left seven or eight years ago," she revealed in a confessional interview. "He was spending an excessive amount of money… and just not home, coming in in the middle of the night," she added.
As the two clashed over several topics, including Gordon claiming Mia had an affair, Mia went on to say that her courage to leave derived from being "tired" and having the sensation of "losing" herself.

Before 'Posted In the Corner', Incognito worked as a radio DJ in Atlanta, Georgia, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mia and Incognito have reconciled, and she has asked him to be her wedding date. Since then, the two have fallen head over heels for each other.
Photos of the couple in an intimate posture while out and about quickly circulated. When images of them together surfaced on the internet, observant readers couldn't help but notice a large rock on her finger.

While discussing his bipolar 1 issues, he mentioned moments in which his conduct became imbalanced. However, he said that only "people around me"—including Mia—were aware of his mood fluctuations while he was unconscious of them.
Gordon, who has a son, Jeremiah, and a daughter, Juliana, with Mia, was formally diagnosed with bipolar disorder more than two years ago. However, he now recognizes that he has experienced symptoms since his 20s. Gordon is currently taking medication, but that is not the only treatment he has pursued.
