‘Queendom 2’ has finally come to an end with a bang. All of the six competitors had explosive stages for the finale as they performed their original songs. WJSN ended up winning, while Loona came in second. While ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ was the male counterpart of ‘Queendom’ season 1, ‘Queendom 2’ happened to be the female version of ‘Road To Kingdom’ as Mnet wanted to give a global platform to underrated girl groups.

And we got some iconic moments that went viral on ‘Queendom 2’. Viviz’s SinB and WJSN’s Yeoreum’s fake beef was the highlight of the first episode and was the talk of the town for the first two weeks. Viewers found Kep1er’s Youngeun adorable as she shared that her father is a fan of Brave Girls. Fans can also never forget WJSN crying and were shockingly amused as the girls were upset over a mistake that no one even realized and thought was part of the performance. Well, here are six viral moments from ‘Queendom 2’ now that the show is over.

6 viral moments from ‘Queendom 2’

Hyolyn winning two rounds after an iconic aerial stunt

Hyolyn was the only soloist on the show which had everyone underestimating her. However, she not only won round 1 but round 2 as well with perfect scores as she got full points in all criteria. In round 2, she was also dubbed as ‘Korea’s Beyonce’ by Pentagon’s Hongseok as she made her entrance in an aerial hoop while performing Loona’s ‘So What’.

Viviz performing an unreleased GFriend song for the finale

Viviz has time and again proven that they are still fond of their former K-pop group GFriend. In fact, for the first round, they brought everyone to tears, including Hyuna as they gave a tribute to GFriend with two of their songs. Once again, in the finale, they opted for a GFriend song instead of the recommendations put forward by their agency. BPM wanted Viviz to have a strong stage like Stray Kids’ ‘Wolfgang’ or (G)I-DLE’s ‘Lion’, however, the girls gave a fun and cheerful performance to GFriend’s unreleased song ‘Red Sun’ that was made four years ago.

Brave Girls winning for the first time with ‘Tam-I-Na’

‘Chart reversal queens’ Brave Girls were the underdogs of the season as their first two performances were ranked low to the point that the group cried and wondered what they did wrong. Their turning point was during the dance unit stage where Brave Girls’ Eunji performed ‘Tam-I-Na’ with Loona’s Olivia, Heejin, Yves, and Choerry. The song was avoided by all the other competitors as it was choreographed by the intimidating Monika of Prowdmon fame. However, the girls turned it out with a thrilling concept and ended up giving Brave Girls their first win on the show.

Loona’s ‘Shake It’ stage

Fans were disappointed when it was announced that all 12 members of Loona had been diagnosed with Covid right before the filming of ‘Queendom 2’. They had to forfeit the points of round 1’s live voting which many feel cost them the win in the finale as they were only around 3000 points behind WJSN who ended up winning the show. They proved themselves as worthy opponents with their first live stage for round 2 as they performed Sistar’s ‘Shake It’. Their fun and youthful concept even had the original singer Hyolyn praising their performance.

WJSN flying in ‘Pantomime’

WJSN solidified their win in round 3’s second half as they performed to the fan-chosen song ‘Pantomime’. It was full of surprises from idol actor Bona finally joining her group to the LED and hologram tricks that wowed the audience. They also went all out for the Cirque du Soleil theme as everyone was shocked to see four of the WJSN members flying. During the last chorus, many were impressed that Bona, Luda, Seola, and Exy did acrobatic stunts as they flew around the stage in ariel silk ropes.

Kep1er twerking during the dance unit workshop

While many fans were upset with the treatment that Kep1er got on the show, the new girl group did have their moments. From completely remaking Brave Girls’ ‘Pool Party’ to Xiaoting doing a backflip stunt, Kep1er had some amazing performances. But it was the girls playing around during the unit workshop that had everyone thrilled. We first had Loona’s Yeojin screaming that Dayeon should twerk during the dance unit’s turn. And so while they performed, Viviz’s SinB, Xiaoting, Hikaru, and Dayeon shocked everyone by twerking and showing off their floorwork while the crowd hyped them up.
