‘Queendom 2’ is in full swing with episode 4 seeing Viviz pushing out of their comfort zone, Hyolyn hanging from the ceiling while we got the rankings for round 2. Hyolyn won with perfect scores once more and she was followed by Loona who had placed last in the previous round since their Covid diagnosis had affected their performance. Round 2 had been exciting for many as the mission was for the participants to swap songs with each other.

However, in the last few episodes of ‘Queendom 2’, we saw several of the participants crying and being disappointed with their performances as they made mistakes on the stages. WJSN’s Yeoreum was seen practicing hard for a solo dance break after she had felt that she had let down her group in round 1 for not dancing well due to a prop breaking and ruining the stage. Brave Girls too were disappointed that they could not show their full potential since their voices had been affected due to them testing positive for Covid.

'Queendom 2' episode 4 has participants disheartened

In episode 4, Viviz went for a bold and Latin-fused choreography with each member having a solo part. Unfortunately, Eunha felt that she was the poorest dancer in the group as she made a mistake right at the part that she had practiced the most. They were followed by rookie group Kep1er who only debuted in January. A lot of the viewers were against them competing and they knew that. After ranking low in round 1, Kep1er hoped to change viewers’ minds as they went all out for round 2. There were highlights like Xiaoting’s martial art tricks and Bahiyyih’s dance with a ballet barre. However, Dayeon ended up falling, while Yujin felt like she messed up because her shoes got wet.

'Proud of you'

With fans seeing that four out of six participants were hard on themselves, sent supportive messages. One fan tweeted, “Brave Girls just got cured from Covid, Minyoung with her personal health issues, the girls are new to this kind of stage, they are still promoting Thank You and yet they are standing on the stage giving us good performances.” A Kep1er fan posted, “My pretty babies #Kep1er you did amazing! dayeon fell off the stage and yujin stepped on bubble so she couldn’t dance properly and kept slipping, but what matters is that you didn’t give up! that was a very cheerful performance, i’m proud of you.”

Another shared, “SinB talking about Eunha: ‘she's very optimistic. She tends to brush things off easily. But everyone in QD2 is determined. It's okay. She's having a hard time because she wants to do well.’ It's okay, Eunha. You did well!” A WJSN fan added, “Rewatched eps 3 and damn I've never seen yeoreum cried this hard before, it's really hurts my heart to see her crying like that, she was really worried about the center dance break in round 1 although she's really did a great job.”

One fan pointed out, “Queendom showing how small mistakes affect idols emotionally so much so pls we should be more understanding and be careful of our words, some people are harsh not knowing how much they work hard and suffer behind :(((.” Another hoped the girls wouldn’t be too hard on themselves, “These girls on queendom 2....they make mistakes here and there, but it's unnoticeable unless said which is...professional, right? like it seems there is some/small mistakes here and there, but it's not noticeable unless they say it so…"
