Christopher Nolan wins 2 Oscars for the first time fin nearly 2 decades

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christopher Nolan finally took home two Oscars after nearly 8 nominations across two decades. Fans believe that the director has not been praised enough for the kind of work he has created.

Seeing him finally win 2 Oscars on Sunday night made fans question Hollywood. Many claimed Christopher deserved more awards than what he got. While a few stuck to supporting his other movies like 'Interstellar' and 'The Dark Knight' as he got no Oscars for them.

Seeing Christopher not get the needed acknowledgment, a fan tweeted, "Don't worry everyone. Nolan is used to his s**t not winning. Let's just wait for when they HAVE TO get things right." Another wrote, "Christopher Nolan deserves more than ever to be awarded as Best Director at #Oscar2024 for #Oppenheimer as well as Cillian Murphy as Best Male actor , both guys deserves it... It's about time Hollywood acknowledge their high quality professional work in so many films."

A sad fan claimed, "Christopher Nolan not winning (or being nominated) for The Dark Knight will forever be what I consider my biggest Oscar snub. I’m so glad he’s finally won." "Finally Christopher Nolan got the First Ever OSCAR after 8 nominations Also Congratulations to @CillianMurphyOG and @RobertDowneyJr for winning Oscar," tweeted one.

Christopher Nolan thanks 'Oppenheimer' casts and crews as he gets awarded Best Director at Oscars 2024

As Christopher took the stage to accept the Best Director award, he expressed, "There are so many people who dragged me up here." The director then proceeded to thank the writer of 'American Prometheus,' the book upon which the movie is based.

"I have so many people to thank," Christopher continued. He expressed gratitude towards the "incredible" cast, specifically mentioning Cillian Murphy. "I can't say enough about the incredible crew," Christopher added.

The director also acknowledged Emma Thomas, the movie's producer, and his wife.

Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' gets Best Picture award at Oscars 2024

Shortly after Christopher won the Best Director award, he clinched another Oscar for his movie 'Oppenheimer,' winning Best Picture. Al Pacino took the stage to present the award to the director.

Christopher, along with the producer, cast, and crew of 'Oppenheimer,' celebrated the significant achievement.

The 96th Academy Awards is held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with Jimmy Kimmel as host for a fourth time.
