NEW YORK, UNITED STATES: 'Next in Fashion' is returning for a second season with big names like Hailey Bieber and some prominent designers. The previously canceled show was revived by Netflix in 2022. With the revival announcement, the streaming giant also revealed the highly anticipated fashion designers list and notably, who is going to host the upcoming season.

'Next in Fashion' Season 2 will be hosted by fashion designer and television personality Tan France, known for 'Queer Eye'. Moreover, supermodel Gigi Hadid will also serve as the host of the fashion competition. The reality show, which returns three years after its first season premiered, will feature aspiring designers from all across the globe who will compete for a thrilling cash prize. Among the talented designers is Desyrée Nicole who left her full-fledged sports career to pursue her avocation.

Who is Desyree Nicole?

Desyree Nicole hails from Waterford, Michigan and currently living her dream life in New York, United States. She pursued a Bachelor of Arts and  ScienceArt/Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University. However, she later became part of a basketball team and played for years. The former basketball player then used her passion for arts and created her name in the fashion world. She launched her brand Todd Patrick, which is named after her little brother. She also founded a multi-platform app called THE BAR TAP, which connects users to the bars that fit their vibe.

In her personal life, Nicole is happily engaged with her longtime partner Gaby Paulino since 2022. The couple has documented several glimpses of the memorable moments of their life. While announcing their engagement, Nicole's girlfriend penned, "SHE SAID YESSSSSSSS! my buttah, my soulmate, my other half. nobody else in this world that i want to do life with. i love you forever and can’t wait to do life with you."

Former basketball player turned into fashion designer

Nicole was happily playing basketball but she knew something was missing from her life. And when she realized it, she left the game and rushed to turn her love of art into a career in fashion. It was not complicated for Nicole as she already knew what competition actually is!

The former basketball player now is a self-taught designer with no formal training. She believes in using her creativity through clothes as she says, "Your life is your own, and through that, it brings a unique take to everything you do." Nicole focuses on texture and relaxed silhouettes. Though she left basketball, she never left her teammates. She works as a wardrobe stylist for professional athletes in the NFL and NBA and they just love Nicole's designs.
