‘Next In Fashion': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all else you need about Netflix's latest fashion warzone
The next best fashion designer in the country has another address and it's on Netflix. In this brand new show, talented professional designers would compete to win the prize and showcase their work in the real world.
Release Date
The reality show will premiere on Netflix on January 29, 2020.
Plot
The competitive reality show features talented designers vying for huge prize money as well as a contract with a leading fashion retailer. The 10-episode series will see 18 designers who face each other in different challenges focusing on popular trends and will present their design ideas to the judges. The best one to cross all levels will take the win of $250,000 home and also get to debut their collection with Net-a-Porter. However, none of these contestants are amateur, at-home designers but experienced in the fashion industry and have worked with major brands, leading designers, and celebrities.
Host
The show features Tan France and Alexa Chung as the hosts.
Tan France
He is an English fashion designer and television personality who also goes by the name Tanweer Wasin France. He is known for founding women’s fashion line- Kingdom & State and being the fashion expert on the popular Netflix revival ‘Queer Eye’.
Alexa Chung
She is an English television presenter, model, Youtuber and contributing editor at British Vogue who will co-host the fashion reality show with France. She has also had a brief acting stint and is known for 'Frock Me' (2008), 'Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie' (2016) and 'Neo Yokio' (2017).
Judges and Guests
The fashion design competition will see a series of special guests who will judge the show. Instagram’s popular Eva Chen and celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart have been declared to be the recurring guest judges. Other celebrities from the fashion industry like Tommy Hilfiger, Kerby Jean Raymond, Prabal Gurung, Elizabeth von der Goltz, Adriana Lima among others, will also appear as judges throughout the show.
Showrunner
Robin Ashbrook and Yasmin Shackleton serve as the executive producers for ‘Next in Fashion’ and Adam Cooper is the reality show’s co-executive producer.
