NCT 127's 'Sticker' gets K-pop band third consecutive win at Mnet's 'M Countdown'
Marking it their tenth music show win for their latest release 'Sticker', NCT 127 is set on sticking on to fans as they take their third consecutive win on 'M Countdown'. NCT 127 defeated ITZY's 'Swipe' this time and took first place at Mnet's 'M Countdown'. The show was broadcast on October 7 where ITZY's 'Swipe' (released on September 26) competed against NCT 127's 'Sticker' (released on September 17).
Despite having released ten days ahead of ITZY's song, NCT 127's 'Sticker' proves that they are sticking to the trophy despite not having a live performance at the event. Both the songs were nominated for first place and NCT 127 took the win. Incidentally, M Countdown was the show that marked their first win for 'Sticker'.

NCT 127 takes another win at M Countdown
NCT 127 came first at 'M Countdwn' for three weeks in a row. Despite not appearing on the show, fans of NCT 127 were excited to hear the news about their victory because Jhonny from the group had really wished for the win. The win taken by NCT 127 was based on song sales, album sales, social media presence, global fan voting, broadcast scores and live broadcast real-time voting results.
Meanwhile, the broadcast also saw groups like Golden Child have their stage where they had a comeback in all-black suits and mafia syle, very different from their usual style of choice as they performed 'Ddara'. The episode also saw artists like SHINee's Key, WOODZ, N.Flying, ATEEZ, ITZY, AB6IX, GOT7's Youngjae, former IZ*ONE member Jo Yuri who made her solo debut on the same day, Norazo and Pixie as all of them performed their most recent songs on the broadcast.
Double million-plus seller NCT 127
With their full-length album 'Sticker', NCT 127 also became a double-million seller as they recorded 2.27 million copies sold as on October 7. The reports shared by SM Entertainment say that 'Sticker' has now marked a total of 2,277,575 copies sold. This record has now made NCT 127 take first place on the Gaon monthly album chart.
The title track of the album, also named 'Sticker', took first place on the monthly download chart. In addition, NCT 127 topped the daily and weekly charts in various album charts such as Gaon Chart, Hanteo Chart, Hot Tracks and Gaon Retail Album Chart. This album from the group has recorded the highest K-pop ranking this year as it was placed third on the US Billboard 200 chart while the album also entered the UK Official Album Chart in the TOP 40 category and Germany's Official Music Chart Album Top 100.
'Sticker' also ranked at Number 16 on the Australian Aria Chart Album TOP 50 category and ranked at Number 1 on the United World Chart, Japan's Oricon Weekly Album Chart, Japan's Line Music Album Top 100 and China's QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart.
