What is Brian Tee's net worth? 'Chicago Med' star is also a film producer and screenwriter
A lot of characters from 'Chicago Med' have struck a chord with viewers but in recent times Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) seems to be the one topping that list. Choi has been through a lot over the course of the NBC medical drama that is currently on its seventh season. An Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine with a specialization in infectious diseases, Choi appeared for the first time in 'Derailed,' the pilot episode of 'Chicago Med.'
Ethan is the son of Navy veteran Patrick Choi and followed in his father's footsteps, serving in the US Navy as a medic. He worked in camps in Baghdad and served on the USS Carl Vinson, before moving back to Chicago and becoming a resident in Emergency Medicine. Ethan's time in the Navy causes him to suffer from PTSD and he struggles with it throughout the show. The previous episode focused on the strained relationship that Ethan had with his father. Titled 'What You Don't Know Can't Hurt You,' it ended with Patrick dying while Ethan was running an errand that he had asked him to do and Ethan later realizes that his father did not want to see him die. The episode was lauded, with many expressing their emotions over how it affected them.
