Spoilers for 'Money Heist' Season 5 Volume 1

The latest edition of ‘Money Heist’ ended with the tragic death of Tokyo (Ursula Corbero). Her death shocked everyone and made us realize that a lot of things will change for the group as they go head-to-head against the military. However, there are a lot of fans who are angry and frustrated with one of the characters that could have saved Tokyo from being dead.

Social media users are angry that Stockholm (Esther Acebo) got so late in hearing the conversation between Denver (Jaime Lorente) and The Professor (Alvaro Morte). They believe that she could have saved the character if she wouldn’t have been tripping after taking a shot of morphine. In the final scene, Tokyo gets shot by the snipers and survives. However, the trio of Denver, Tokyo, and Manila (Belen Cuesta) is surrounded by army personnel inside the bank. Just when we thought that it was the end for them, Stockholm told them about the secret exit in the kitchen.

Denver and Manila make it to the other room via the exit, but Tokyo could not. As a result, the character died and took Gandia with her as well. Fans were reasonably upset with Stockholm’s idiotic move to take morphine and slammed her on social media.

One of the users said that Tokyo could have survived if Stockholm told about the exit earlier. The user wrote, “My Tokyo could've survived if only Stockholm did that earlier like fr girl?huh?” Another user noted, “So Stockholm is really annoying. If only she placed the cushion herself instead of passing out, then Tokyo wouldn't have died.”

Another user noted, “Have you ever seen a personification of stupidity? Watch ‘Money Heist’. You’ll see Stockholm.” Another fan shared, “I wish Stockholm was in the place of Tokyo, at the end.”

Meanwhile, another social media user opined, “Not Stockholm being a f---ng vegetable she should be the one getting shot.” Another fan wrote, “I blame Tokyo's death on Stockholm. If she did not take that morphine, she could have heard Tokyo's team voices from the top earlier. Gosh very sad.”

“Stockholm stopped being useless for 2 seconds then got useless again,” said another one.

Stockholm had a very event season because she was earlier praised for shooting Arturo (Enrique Arce) in Episode 2 and by the end of the season, people were angry at her for not being attentive, which resulted in Tokyo’s death.

Let’s see what happens when the gang returns for the final set of episodes.

‘Money Heist’ Season Vol 2 will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on December 3, 2021.
