Spoilers for 'Money Heist' Part 5 Volume 1

In Season 4 of 'Money Heist', we saw the gang taking a lot of hostages while robbing the Royal Bank of Spain and of course, the always-annoying Arturo (Enrique Arce) was also present there. The hostages are scared to death and want their ordeal to come to an end soon. On the other hand, the group has some other plans to make things even more interesting.

Things get interesting when Lisbon (Itziar Ituño) makes a plan of negotiating with Colonel Luis Tamayo (Fernando Cayo) and takes the hostages out of the bank. A lot of people are present there, with many supporting the group. Lisbon, Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), and Stockholm (Mónica Gaztambide) make their way outside and have a white flag in their hands. Tamayo is angry and wants the army to shoot them, but one of his colleagues says that if he does that then the whole world will see how Spain failed miserably.

Colonel goes out and talks to Lisbon when she shows the condition of one of his own men, Cesar Gandia (José Manuel Poga). Lisbon buys time and agrees to give Gandia to them. However, she gets to know that Professor is not with them. On the other hand, Bogota (Hovik Keuchkerian) is furious at Gandia and what he did to Nairobi (Alba Flores). He wants to have a fight with him, but everyone says no. Rio (Aníbal Cortés) comes to support Bogota and gets into an argument with Denver and Palermo. They finally give in and tell Bogota that he is yours. Bogota and Gandia get into a fistfight when Lisbon enters and orders them to stop this nonsense. Tokyo manages to stop Bogota and the fight is over. But, they have managed to get them into another problem.

Arturo has something in his mind and steals some of the weapons of the group while they were solving their inner conflicts. Arturo starts shooting at them as the hostages start to run away from them. The team tries stopping them in an epic gunfight sequence that will surely be remembered as one of the best of the shows. Arturo doesn’t back down and the governor, who is accompanying the group of hostages, plans to reach the door that can only be opened by him. The hostages manage to reach that room, only to see that the group has planted explosives over the door. But, they have come into a room where all the group’s weapons are stored. Arturo and some other members get crazy and start shooting at the group, stopping them from reaching to them.

In the end, Arturo talks to Denver and incites him by telling Stockholm never loved him because she always loved Arturo. To make things worse, he also says that the former couple made love every time they met and in every corner of the world. The entire conversation makes him angry and he is ready to confront him, but Arturo is waiting for him with a flamethrower and Denver is somehow saved by the deadly fire.

Stockholm has also heard what Arturo said and takes Bogota’s gun to teach him a lesson. She gets inside ventilation tunnels and reaches the place where Arturo is trying to get away with the hostages with the help of a mini-truck. Stockholm loudly shouts his name and Arturo is really shocked to see her. He tries to go for his gun, but she shoots him in the hand and then shoots him on the shoulder.

It’s befitting that it was Stockholm that shot him instead of Denver. He has always been manipulative and Stockholm never got the love she expected from him. When he said those things, she knew that it’s enough and she needs to take the matters into her own hands. However, it remains to see if she’ll kill him or not.

Elsewhere, the group now has the chance to have everything in control with Arturo injured. They can easily swoop in and take control of the hostages as well as their weaponry. Things will only get interesting after this.

'Money Heist' Part 5 Volume One is currently streaming on Netflix.
