The day has finally arrived when fans will be calling in sick to their workplace or switch off their mobile phones to watch the beginning of the end of the worldwide phenomenon ‘Money Heist’. The previous four seasons have been scintillating and proved why content is king and language is secondary.

The Spanish show has enthralled the fans with its engaging content, plot twists, and epic action sequences for the past 2 to 3 years. Now, it’s time for them to embark on their final journey. Season 4 of the slick crime drama ended with Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) finding the Professor’s (Alvaro Morte) hideout. While the other group members celebrate the successful operation to free Lisbon, aka Raquel (Itziar Ituño), from the police, they don’t know that the man in charge is in a dangerous situation.

He hangs in mid-air as Alicia once again tries to get the truth out of the Professor. But, he says he will never turn in his team.

The first two episodes of the series that we were given access to watch in advance had everything a fan would have asked for. From action sequences to epic confrontations, it had everything to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats. Apart from thrilling sequences, the episodes also see some of the group members having arguments with one another, which makes the show even more interesting.

As soon as the first two episodes end, you are left to wonder if starting the series with so much action was a good idea or not. If this is how they have started, fans will be expecting a high adrenaline finish, filled with double the action and double the entertainment.

‘Money Heist’ Part 5 Vol 1 is a worthy addition to the series which doesn’t compromise on the quality and gives viewers plenty of things to look forward to. The writing is slick, the acting is perfect and when you feel nothing bombastic can happen is exactly when the plot surprises you and hits it out of the park. Fans will be engaged to the show from the word go and they will be hoping for a satisfying end to a show that has changed the landscape of non-English language shows around the world. ‘Money Heist’ Part 5 Vol 1 is as good as it can get. THIS ONE IS FOR NAIROBI.

‘Money Heist’ Part 5 Vol 1 is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
