KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 has introduced new villains who are set to shake things up for Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner).

In the first episode of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, two major antagonists are introduced: Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen), a Russian mobster, and Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), the head of an Aryan gang.

From the first episode, both Konstantin and Merle appear suspicious. The criminal activities unleashed havoc in Kingstown. Amid the chaos, it appears that Merle is the mastermind behind the deaths where victims are found vomiting a white substance.

Is Merle Callahan responsible for the deaths in the prison?

During Mike's mother's funeral in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 2, a bomb attack causes chaos. However, no one is harmed. Mike, along with his friends Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon) and Robert (Hamish Allan-Headley) takes it upon themselves to track down the person responsible for the explosion.

Later on, Mike confronts and intimidates a member of the Aryan gang, coercing him to disclose the location of their safe house. Mike's plan was to conduct a peaceful raid and make arrests without violence. However, Robert takes matters into his own hands and detonates a bomb at the house, causing casualties.

When Merle learns about the incident, he becomes furious. He is surrounded by admirers at the Millhaven Correctional Facility.

Later, a Black inmate was killed by an Aryan inmate inside the prison. This suggests that Merle is the leader of an Aryan gang and the mastermind behind the violent activities carried out by the clan.

Merle could be the individual who ordered the bombing at a funeral and the killing of an inmate in a separate prison. In the final scene of Episode 1, Merle is also transferred to the Kingstown Correctional Facility after an attack at the Millhaven Correctional Facility.

His arrival at the Kingstown Correctional Facility poses a significant threat to Mike. As the leader of the Aryan gang, Merle has the influence and resources to cause disruption and harm within the facility.

'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2 is filled with violence. Big Hush (Jock McKissic) takes drugs in a secluded area of the prison. Carney (Lane Garrison) eventually finds Hush's body, which has been mutilated by Raphael (D Smoke). Raphael sliced open Hush's belly to retrieve the drugs and sell them to other inmates.

As tensions rise in the prison, more and more prisoners fall victim to drug overdoses. Two other inmates suddenly begin convulsing violently, their bodies contorting in uncontrollable spasms. Foam spills from their mouths, and they die.

Subsequently, Warden Kareem Moore (Michael Beach) orders Carney to lock down the yard for a while.

It seems increasingly likely that Merle is behind these deaths, as his involvement in the drug trade within the prison becomes more apparent. Merle's position as the leader of an Aryan gang gives him the authority and resources to facilitate the entry of drugs into the prison.

By controlling the drug trade, Merle can manipulate and intimidate other inmates. Through these activities, he can advance his own interests both inside the prison and beyond.

Later in Episode 2, Evelyn Foley (Necar Zadegan) informs Mike about the deaths of a 22-year-old, a 30-year-old, and a mother of three who did not have a history of long-term drug use. She notes that these deaths are happening both in the streets and within the prison, prompting concerns that the epidemic could soon affect schools.

As the leader of the Aryan gang, Merle holds a position of significant influence and power within the prison. The deaths occurring after the attack on the Aryan safehouse, which resulted in the deaths of many Aryan members, suggest that Merle is seeking revenge for the loss of his comrades.

Merle seems to be retaliating by fueling the prison's drug epidemic and causing deaths in Kingstown.

Mike needs to work hard to catch Merle and halt the wave of deaths plaguing the prison.
