'Mama June: Family Crisis' back with new season, Honey Boo Boo reveals premiere date
PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA: 'Mama June' Shannon will be returning to revision and it is coming sooner rather than later. Fans have been wondering if there would be another season of her reality show, 'Road to Redemption'. In the last season of 'Mama June: Road to Redemption', fans were ready to see Mama June exit the series. She was consistently absent, making false promises to her family, and leaving them for men. That made viewers feel it was time to dispose of June and turn the show over to her daughters, Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo. After all, it was becoming more and more about them while fans spent more time getting angry with Mama June.
Things were up in the air as her daughters appeared to be getting their show. However recently her daughter Alana Thompson aka Honey Boo Boo has revealed the release date for the upcoming Season 5. She took to her Instagram story to share that 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 5 will be returning to WeTv.

Reality star Alana Thompson or Honey Boo Boo has recently taken to Instagram to announce that the new season of 'Mama June' will be back on WeTv. She revealed the premiere date of the show as May 5, 2023.
In her stories, Honey Boo Boo shared the beautiful wedding pictures of her mother's recent celebration and captioned one of them, "Everybody has been asking and we are back for another season. May 5th @wetv, make sure to tune in. This might be the best season yet." The show is staying on WeTV where it has found a very happy home.
Will all of Mama June's daughters reunite for this season?
Mama June reported that she and Pumpkin had made up as of the New Year 2023. In January, Mama June was going to join her daughter in celebrating her 23rd birthday. Additionally, the family was making an effort to spend time together every week.
This meant June Shannon and Justin Stroud were able to celebrate their love in front of family and friends with a glamorous and intimate oceanfront ceremony on Saturday, February 18. In attendance at the nuptials were June’s daughters, Alana Thompson, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon and Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell as well as June’s grandchildren Stella, Sylus, and Bentley Efird. And reports have suggested that the wedding will be featured in the upcoming season, so we might see Mama June reuniting with her daughters after all.
