'Not giving up on myself': 'Mama June' star June Shannon recaps 2022 and shares New Year's resolution

TUSKEGEE, ALABAMA: 'Mama June' star June Shannon summed up her 2022 experience with her TikTok fans. The mother-of-four wishes everyone a 'Happy New Year' and revealed how she has grown in the past year. June has grown "mentally, personally, and emotionally" in 2022.

However, June had to deal with a lot of "trauma." She realized to differentiate between people who are good for her and who are there just for the sake of benefit. June addressed her TikTok family, saying, "I wanna recap 2022 with you all. First of all, I started going live here on TikTok and I have met some amazing people." 'Mama June' star claimed that her TikTok fans have become friends and family to her and Justin. She further shared an update on her relationship with her boyfriend and daughters.

June started her New Year post by saying, "Happy new year as this year comes to an end I have grown so much this year personally mentally emotionally." She confirmed to her fans that she will not let the new year take her down with negativity. June claimed, "2023 is my year to show the world im back b*****s bigger and better than ever before." One thing that she has learned and will be practicing from the new year onwards that to cut out all the people who are not there for her personally, emotionally, and mentally. June asked such people in her post who look out for benefits to remove themselves from her life. June wrote, "I have realized for SO MANY YEARS I have done for everyone else n forgot about me JUNE SHANNON." 

June has made a lot of realizations in the past year. She claims, "I have learned who I’m n dealt with a lot of trauma that I have had in my life and that I have caused in other people's life." Therefore, she is now working on mending the relationships and as of June, her efforts are going well so far. The star says, "I’m fighting like hell not giving up on myself and all of our kids including Justin’s my grandkids, and my husband n all." All that matter for June in 2023 is building strong relationships. At the end of the post, June cheered the new year. She wrote, "so here’s to cutting toxic things out of my life forever here’s to making me a better person for the people in life that matter the most." June bid adieu to 2022 and welcomed new beginnings.



 

In the video posted, June claimed to have found the man of her dreams, Justin. She said marriage was something she never thought she will get the chance to have it. But, she felt grateful to 2022 for embarking on that opportunity. She further praised her husband in the post, calling him someone who she can trust, share her secrets with, and share her life with. She further gave us an update about her relationship with her daughters. June is currently staying in Georgia to have Pumpkin's post-birthday celebration as she will be out of town on her birthday next week.
