MCINTYRE, GEORGIA: Alana Thompson, popularly known as Honey Boo Boo, sent fans into a frenzy after the reality TV star posted a scathing new video on TikTok where she dissed her mother June Shanon aka Mama June. In the new video, the 17-year-old is seen dancing to the Soulja Boy song ‘Pretty Boy Swag’.
The 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' star took a dig at her mother, who is known to have a strained relationship with her four daughters, including Alana. The Soulja Boy song is typically used in a viral TikTok trend “How It Started” to “How It Ended.” The trend urges netizens to share images of their beginning compared to what they have achieved or where they are at present. In the video, Alana starts dancing to the song while sneakily looking at the camera. She also added the caption over the dance that read, “Sister who needed a momma.” Then she grabbed the camera and swung it to show her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, standing in the kitchen. The 22-year-old Pumpkin then breaks into a similar dance to her sister, with the caption reading, “The sister that came in clutch and raised her.” Alana's caption was clearly a sly dig at their mother June.
