Aerialists, acrobats, singers, dancers, and others will battle for the title of ultimate champion in the show. Light Balance Kids, a group of young dancers that blend technology and choreography to create the most incredible shows ever, is one of the contenders ready to return to the stage. They made their debut appearance on 'AGT' in Season 14, in 2019.

Light Balance Kids, a dance ensemble, progressed to the semifinals of 'America's Got Talent' Season 14 and will perform on the 'AGT: All Stars' stage again on Monday, January 2. Here's all you need to know about Light Balance Kids before their upcoming act, which they believe will earn them America's vote and a slot in the finals.

Who are Light Balance Kids?

Light Balance Kids, the junior counterpart to their Golden Buzzer mentors Light Balance, is a group of high-tech artists who dance in the dark with coordinated gestures and programmed cues of EL and LED lights embedded into their costumes. The group, which was formed in late 2018, is made up of 13 dancers aged 11 to 14 from Kyiv, Ukraine's capital. 'Ukraine's Got Talent' featured the ensemble in 2017.

After the adult version, Light Balance appeared in high-profile competitions and the group leveraged its success to assist a group of children in Ukraine in achieving similar successes. Light Balance Kids appeared on 'AGT' using the same equipment and supervision as the light balance group. Amazing things can happen when technology meets skill and imagination. Light Balance, a Ukrainian dance company, accomplished just this when they chose to combine their dance performances with LED light costumes.

Light Balance is a Ukrainian LED dancing company that was founded in 2012. They're from Dnipro, Ukraine, where they had the great idea to include an LED light display in their dancing performances. The group competed in the eighth season of 'Britain's Got Talent,' reaching the semi-finals and finishing the fourth round. Collabro, an opera ensemble, was the eventual season 8 champion.

The audition for Light Balance Kids consists of an LED dancing performance based on Iron Man to Queen's 'Another One Bites The Dust.' Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," and the group was sent to the Judge Cuts.

Light Balance Kids' Judge Cuts performance comprised of them performing an LED dance as robots. Standing ovations were given to them by Cowell, Hough, Union, and guest judge Ellie Kemper. Ellie, who was quite thrilled with their performance, pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending the group on to the quarterfinals.

Light Balance Kids' performance in the Quarterfinals consisted of an LED dance routine set to Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy' and the Jonas Brothers' 'Sucker.' Standing ovations were given by Hough, Union, and Howie. Instead of Nick and Lindsay, they got enough votes to progress to the Semifinals alongside Robert Finley.

Light Balance Kids' Semifinals performance was an LED dance routine depicting Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes set to The Scorpions' 'Rock You Like a Hurricane' and Bon Jovi's 'Living on a Prayer.' Standing ovations were given to them by Simon, Julianne, Gabrielle, Howie, and guest judge Sean Hayes. In America's Vote, the ensemble came in fourth, fifth, or sixth place. They advanced to the Dunkin' Save Finals after receiving more online votes than Ndlovu Youth Choir and Robert Finley.

Light Balance Kids performed a light-up dance routine with a diner/fast food motif set to Jason Derulo's 'Kiss the Sky' and DNCE's 'Cake by the Ocean' in the Finals. They received standing ovations from Cowell, Hough, Union, and Howie.

Following Tyler Butler-Figueroa and Brian King Joseph's violin duet of Ariana Grande's '7 Rings,' Light Balance Kids reprised their Judge Cuts act with Paula Abdul. They did not obtain enough votes to proceed to the Top 5, therefore they were eliminated instead of Kodi Lee.

They auditioned for the 15th season of 'Germany's Got Talent' in 2021, where they won the Golden Buzzer from the Ehrlich Brothers and advanced to the Finals. Light Balance Kids was one of the acts to receive a Golden Buzzer on both 'AGT' and an international edition of the 'Got Talent' series.

Many of the children's flights from Ukraine to Los Angeles to participate in 'America's Got Talent' were their first flights. It's easy to forget that the group is made up of children due to the complexity of their performances and the fact that their identities are obscured and muddled by the lights when they dance. The team is made up of young people aged 11 to 13, making them some of the season's youngest competitors.

Their youthfulness benefits them in the liveliness of their performances, and their personalities shine through during pre-recorded interviews and post-performance remarks from the judges. They have a decent chance of making it to the finale if they continue to enchant the American audience watching and voting at home.

If their ability as dancers and acrobats wasn't enough, their show also required lights, programming, and coding to complete. These should be considered by home viewers when determining which acts to support and vote for. The ensemble is characterized as "a Hi-Tech neon and LED show with elements of acrobatic and dance choreography" on the Light Balance website. Based on that description, it appears that the programming and coding abilities required to create the dynamic light displays that distinguish Light Balance Kids' performances are the group's core strength.

They will now appear in 'America's Got Talent: All-Stars 2023,' which will air on NBC and Peacock on January 2, 2023.
