'America's Got Talent' season 14: From a Golden Buzzer to pitch-perfect performances, here are the top acts from the Judge Cuts

Out of the 18 acts that performed during the Judge Cuts, only seven moved to the live shows and one among those seven acts was sent directly to the live shows after Kemper used her Golden Buzzer.

'America's Got Talent' season 14 is one step closer to the live shows, now that the third round of Judge Cuts is over.

The series returned on Tuesday night for the third round of Judge Cuts, where another slew of contestants took their shot at the live shows. This week joining Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Gabrielle Union, and Julianne Hough, in the judging panel as a guest judge was Ellie Kemper. Kemper is known for her role in 'Bridesmaids' and 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'.

Out of the 18 acts that performed during the Judge Cuts, only seven moved to the live shows, and one among those seven acts was sent directly to the live shows after Kemper used her Golden Buzzer. While every act that moved on to the live shows deserved their place, there were a few acts that stood out amongst them and have a higher chance at winning this season.

Here is a list of the acts that raked in the most cheers:

Light Balance Kids

Light Balance Kids were clearly the highlight of this week's episode. And it is no surprise that Kemper chose to give them her Golden Buzzer. These kids whose age ranges from 11-14 are more than just dancers. Prior to their performance, a group member revealed that there is a lot of mixed lights, programming, and coding that goes into the process of making it look flawless. And let's not forget the endless amount of rehearsals. After looking at their performance which was energetic and left everyone wanting more, it is clear that the kids are so much better than their adult counterparts. Now that they are in the live shows, we can't wait to see the tricks they pull now.

Marcin Patrzalek

Marcin Patrzalek stunned everyone with his impeccable guitar skills during the auditions, and now back again he left everyone spellbound. He totally nailed his performance that was inspired by flamenco. Union called Patrzalek a rockstar while Hough revealed that she thinks he has what it takes to win the entire competition. Cowell, meanwhile, said his ability to captivate the audience with nothing but his guitar was outstanding. After receiving such high praise from the judges, we can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve for the live shows that aren't that far away.

MacKenzie

As much as fans and viewers feel like AGT has too many singers who come on the show, MacKenzie is definitely one among the best ones we've heard so far and Cowell himself shared he thinks the same during this week's episode. Performing his version of 'Faithfully', MacKenzie's soulful and emotional performance was nothing short of perfection. His notes were on point, and his range was impeccable. He received a standing ovation from all five judges for his performance. He is clearly a frontrunner this season.

Carmen Carter

Carmen Carter's twist to the Beatles song 'Come Together' was really impressive. Her version of the rock song took the judges and audience by surprise because of how pitch-perfect it was. Carter's charisma can be seen in her performance, and toward the end of her song, the judges all got up and gave her a standing ovation which she highly deserved. After she was done both Kemper and Mandel gushed over her performance. But if she wants to make a mark during the live shows, she needs to try something more different than covering famous songs.
