'America's Got Talent' season 14 returned on Tuesday night for the first half of the semifinals, and it didn't fail to leave us sitting on the edge of our seats with the power-packed performances lined up.

After three weeks of quarterfinals, AGT got all 11 acts to battle it out once again at the Dolby Theater as the teams went one step closer to winning the $1 million grand prize and a chance to headline at a Las Vegas casino.

Although every act is unique in its own way, sadly not everyone can make it to the two-night finale. Only five out of the 11 reach the finals when AGT returns on Wednesday night for the results. Out of the five finalists, three will make it through based on highest votes, one will be saved using the Dunkin Save where fans vote for their favorite during the results show. The fifth and final act to move to the finals will be decided by the judges.

Among the 11 acts that performed on Tuesday night, there were three acts that particularly stood out for their impeccable performance. These three acts also won the coveted Golden Buzzer during the auditions and Judge Cuts.

Kodi Lee

Kodi Lee is no doubt a fan favorite this season. The 22-year-old autistic and blind pianist and singer performed his rendition of Calum Scott's 'You Are The Reason'. And once again there was no one with a dry eye in the theatre, especially Gabrielle Unions. Kodi won the first Golden Buzzer this season from Union. He hit some really good notes during his performance that left everyone in awe. Kodi received raving comments from the judges, and without a doubt, has a high chance of making it to the finale.

Tyler Butler-Figueroa

For his semi-final performance, Tyler Butler-Figueroa performed his version of Ariana Grande's 'Break Free' on his violin. This week, he was accompanied by other cancer survivors who danced along with him. Tyler won Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer this season and is another frontrunner this season. He received a standing ovation from all the judges.

Light Balance Kids

The performance by the Light Balance Kids was definitely the highlight of the evening. This week their performance was themed on the Marvel heroes. Their Avengers-themed performance had everyone standing up and dancing along with them. They featured rock songs including Scorpions' 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' and Bon Jovi's 'Living on a Prayer'. They even had Simon cheering for them and give them a standing ovation. They are definitely an act we can see headline at Vegas.

'America's Got Talent' season 14 airs every Tuesday and Wednesday night only on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
