Eva Longoria is phenomenal as Gala in 'Land of Women'. She gives an outstanding performance, portraying a woman who has lost everything due to her husband's betrayal but remains hopeful.

Eva has truly brought Gala to life in 'Land of Women'. From the start to the end of the series, Eva effectively conveys the full range of Gala’s emotions. She portrays Gala’s sadness with depth, showing how the character struggles with the fallout of her husband’s betrayal.

Eva’s comic timing is exceptional, particularly in scenes where she shares the screen with Carmen Maura. Their on-screen chemistry is electric, with both actresses effortlessly bouncing off each other’s energy.

The witty dialogue and playful interactions between them create some of the most entertaining moments in the series.

Eva’s portrayal of a mother is also deeply touching. The series highlights how Gala’s acceptance of her child's gender identity strengthens her rather than affecting her negatively.

Eva’s performance captures the depth of Gala’s love and support for her child. Eva’s chemistry with Santiago Cabrera is also remarkable. Without relying on bold scenes, their subtle hand gestures and quiet moments effectively convey the growing love between their characters.

Carmen Maura steals the show with her perfect comic timing in 'Land of Women'

Whenever she comes on screen, she never fails to deliver a laugh, showcasing her exceptional acting talent. Her acting has brought Julia to life, making the character vibrant and engaging.

Julia became pregnant in her youth out of wedlock and subsequently left La Muga, leaving behind a complicated past. Throughout much of the series, the storyline centers on Julia’s quest to uncover the identity of Gala’s real father.

What makes these scenes particularly enjoyable is Carmen’s portrayal of Julia. Rather than approaching her quest with sadness or regret, Carmen infuses the character with a lively and upbeat energy.

Julia’s journey to discover Gala’s father becomes an adventure filled with unexpected twists and playful moments, all thanks to Carmen.

Whenever she talks with men or flirts, Julia’s words and skills are a real treat to watch. For a moment, viewers might forget that an older actress is portraying such a character with such ease.
