BARCELONA, SPAIN: 'Land of Women' is getting intense, and Episode 5 just proves that. Throughout the episode, key plot points unfold that force Gala (Eva Longoria) to make difficult choices.

In Episode 4, Gala, Kate (Victoria Bazúa), and Julia (Carmen Maura) found themselves held at gunpoint by Tony's men. In 'Land of Women' Episode 5, Gala finally saves her family.

However, the question looms regarding who might be Gala's father, adding suspense to the storyline. Gala's father could be either Andreu (Pep Anton Muñoz) or the local priest (Joan Pera).

In 'Land of Women' Episode 5, the act of taking a strand of Gala’s hair for testing serves as a pivotal moment.

In Episode 5 of 'Land of Women', it is revealed that Julia always believed Andreu could be the father of her child. This realization played a significant role in her decision to leave La Muga. Julia's feelings were complicated by the fact that her sister, Mariona (Gloria Muñoz), loved Andreu.

She prioritized Mariona's happiness over her own, showcasing her love for her sister.

In 'Land of Women' Episode 3, Julia reveals to Andreu that he is Gala's biological father and attempts to extort money from him. However, Mariona, who is also Andreu's wife, later clarifies that this is impossible since Andreu is sterile.

In Episode 3, it is also revealed Julia had a sexual relationship with a local priest. Julia then started thinking that he could potentially be Gala's father.

In 'Land of Women' Episode 4, Julia confides in the priest, saying he is Gala's father. The priest also discloses this information to the congregation during a church gathering.

However, in Episode 4, Andreu also reveals his secret to Julia. He says he is not sterile, but Mariona is. He hid this information so that Mariona wouldn't feel sad.

Thus, either Andreu or the local priest could be Gala's father. However, there is a significant possibility that the local priest is the actual father, especially given that in Episode 5, Julia reveals she only slept with Andreu once.

Julia’s dementia complicates her understanding of her past, causing her to forget crucial details about her life, including potential relationships.

It is possible that during her youth, she may have had a long-term relationship with the local priest, a significant connection that she no longer remembers due to her condition.

This forgotten relationship could have implications for the current storyline, particularly concerning the mystery of Gala's real father. If Julia once shared a deeper bond with the priest, it is possible that he may be Gala's real father.

Priests are typically not allowed to have relationships or start families, as their primary commitment is to serve the Church. This celibacy requirement creates a significant barrier if the local priest turns out to be Gala's father.

Living with him in La Muga could pose a complex challenge for Gala, especially because the citizens of La Muga value tradition. If the priest is indeed her father, Gala may struggle with conflicting feelings about their relationship.

When Julia first revealed to Gala that Andreu could be her father, Gala was angry but somewhat accepting of it. However, when Julia mentioned that the priest might be the father, Gala was furious, questioning how Julia could have slept with a priest.

In the next episode of 'Land of Women', Gala may face a challenging decision: whether to stay with her biological father, the priest, or remain with Andreu, who is also her uncle.

After learning about Julia's dementia, Mariona shows a deep sense of care and compassion for her sister. Understanding the challenges Julia faces, she may decide to allow both Julia and Gala to stay in her home. However, Gala has to choose between the priest and Andreu.
