Jinyoung's latest post hinting at new music has GOT7 fans excited for 'another SOTY'

With fans getting actor Jinyoung in 2021 K-dramas like ‘The Devil Judge’ and ‘Yumi’s Cells’, we are back to getting new music from the GOT7 star in 2022. After the K-pop group left their old agency JYPE in January 2021, all the members of the group decided to focus on their solo careers in 2021. While we kept getting new music and albums from the remaining six members, Jinyoung decided to grace us with dramas and films as he expanded his filmography. He did gift fans with a surprise single ‘Dive’ to thank those who were waiting for him.

And while he continues to act even in the new year with the drama ‘Yumi’s Cells 2’ and three exciting films, his latest Instagram post has everyone wondering what he is working on at the moment. On January 24, Jinyoung shared an Instagram story of him in a studio with his producer friend Distract. He also added a cheeky caption asking GOT7 fans to guess what he was working on.

Jinyoung working on new music

Well, Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom) know that whenever Jinyoung posts or goes live in the studio, we end up getting new music from him in the next couple of weeks. And while Bambam shared that Jinyoung was currently the busiest member as he is also filming for his drama and the film ‘Christmas Carol’ in which he has twin roles, fans are touched that he is also making music for his fans. But with leader JayB also posting a teaser of sorts on his Instagram at the same time, fans think we could just be getting the sub-unit JJP which consists of him and Jinyoung.

‘Tears gonna be shed’

Well, whether we are getting solo or sub-unit music, excited fans ended up trending Jinyoung on Twitter. One fan flexed, “Multitasking King Park Jinyoung: Preparing/filming double roles while still can making music. Yet, he will sure do well in both of these. Take NBTM and WMLB/Yacha era as example. Or TDJ/Encore/DIVE. Now I’m waiting. Impatiently. :).” Another Ahgase tweeted, “Ik it's coming!! Another SOTY in making. In this house we believe in Distract and Jinyoung combo.” One fan prayed, “JJ Project.”

Another shared, “Jinyoung with distract in their studio. I feel it in my bones Tears gonna be shed.” One found his caption hilarious, “Jinyoung and his emojis lately… boy is learning new things.” Another Ahgase added, “In the studio, no make up, working and looking extra hot.” One joked, “Everyone is freaking out over pjy1, verse 3 or got7 comeback while i’m here who can’t get over that jinyoung used the 🥴 face emoji. he’s learning im so proud.”
