The origin story 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,' which was helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, immediately developed a cult following and relieved the Marvel heads, who had been struggling to produce high-caliber films after 'Avengers: Endgame.'

On Monday, April 15, Simu Liu took to the Thread app to respond to a fan, confirming that part two will indeed happen. The fan's post read, "I feel like Marvel has abandoned the Shang-Chi fan base. There has been no effort by the studio to get the sequel filming or even include the character in other Marvel films. Frustrating as hell."
However, without wasting any time Liu replied, "I proooomiss it’s happening." Following Simu Liu's confirmation of the movie's sequel news, fans have been voicing their joy through comments left under his Thread post.
A fan expressed their joy by saying, "That's good to hear, Shang Chi is one of my fav of mcu. Yall killed the action sequences, like damn that bus scene still hits real hard."
