MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: 'The Golden Bachelor' finalist Leslie Fhima was rushed to the hospital amid her 65th birthday celebration. She was sent to the emergency department following complications from a previous surgery.
Leslie Fhima is a fitness instructor from Minnesota. She was married to David Fhima in 1990 but later divorced. Born on December 28, 1958, she rose to fame with ABC's 'The Golden Bachelors'. In the reality show 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner broke up with her to propose to Theresa Nist.
She took to Instagram and posted on her story that she was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery and spent her birthday in the emergency room. She was seen wearing a blue hospital gown with a pale face and IV hooked to her.
She mentioned that she had, a "bowel blockage. Severe Cramping. Came into the ER and they saw I had this blockage."
She mentioned that the doctors informed her that she needed surgery. She also mentioned how random it was because it was scar tissue from an appendectomy she had when she was just 18 years old. She finally wished everybody a happy new year before ending the video.

However, it is unlikely for Leslie Fhima to attend the wedding as it will be difficult and awkward for her to see her ex Gerry Turner being married to someone else.
The runner-up of 'The Golden Bachelor' was heartbroken and surprised when Gerry chose Theresa over her.
Leslie Fhima claims that Gerry Turner made 'plans with me' for the future
Even though the Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is now engaged to Theresa Nist, he left his runner-up Leslie Fhima stunned by the decision.
Speaking on the 'Bachelor Happy Hour' podcast, Leslie made some revelations. She said that Gerry had made plans with her for the future before breaking up. She said Gerry made plans like 'Save the date, this is what we're going to do, I can't wait for us, two more days, we'll be done with this, be together, start of our life."
Gerry faked all his emotions and promises which left Leslie in a vulnerable position. Leslie mentioned Gerry lacked integrity and she didn't get a proper closure.

In the last few episodes, Theresa and Leslie grew closer to each other. Leslie, who had a strong bond with Gerry Turner from the beginning of the season, felt a sense of insecurity. However, things turned upside down when Gerry went on a fantasy date with Theresa and fell for her.
Gerry mentioned that he was in love with both of them and introduced them to the family. However, things weren't the same as Gerry seemed confused and lost between the two women.
Later, in the evening Leslie expressed her feelings for Gerry, however, he didn't say the same. The next day, Gerry finally confronts Leslie and breaks with her stating he is in love with Theresa.
