The familiar notes of Mendelssohn’s 'Wedding March' filled the air as Consuelos' co-host and wife Kelly Ripa, 53, humorously plucked a bouquet of flowers from a nearby coffee table.
"We understand that they want you guys to get married on TV. Mark is an ordained minister and since we’re all gathered here today, we could just do a wedding right here," Ripa told the couple on the show.
Laughter ensued as Consuelos, 52, placed a pair of rings before the couple and began reciting vows.
However, the lighthearted moment took an unexpected turn when Theresa burst into laughter and playfully interrupted Consuelos before they reached the part where they were supposed to kiss.
With a mischievous tone, she exclaimed, “No, wait, we’re not ready.”
