LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ABC is all set for the special spinoff of 'The Golden Bachelor' called 'The Golden Wedding' this new year. This will be telecasted on Thursday, Jan 4, 2024 on 8 pm ET.
From a bunch of 22 successful women, Gerry Turner chose Theresa Nist over Leslie Fhima in the finale episode as the women he loves on 'The Golden Bachelor'. With the thrilling proposal on the finale of 'The Golden Bachelor', Theresa and Gerry won hearts of the audience. The dazzling diamond ring was from Beverly Hills jeweler Neil Lane. Theresa and Gerry bonded quite well on the show, they bonded over losing their spouses after a long happy married life.
The host Jesse Palmer revealed about this spinoff on the season finale of 'The Golden Bachelor'. He even announced that the couple will be flying to Italy for their honeymoon at the 'After the Finale Rose' portion of the final episode.
Even though the rumor mills say that the duo got married in September 2023, their were no official announcements. The duo posts cozy Christmas pictures and videos of them dancing together on social media.
Looks like they have finally found the one !
Who will host ABC special 'The Golden Wedding'?
This special episode will be hosted by none other than Jesse Palmer. Even though it is not clear that whether he will officiate the wedding or not.
Jesse Palmer was born on October 5, 1978, this Canadian TV star, sports commentator and former professional football player who played for the National Footbal League for five seasons, can be termed as an all rounder.
He was the cast in 2004 'The Bachelor' Season 5. He then further became the college football analyst for ESPN/ABC. He was a major contributor to the ABC's 'Good Morning America'.
In 2018, he hosted the season of The Proposal for ABC, Holiday Baking Championship on Food Network and many more.
He finally became the permanent host of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' from 2021.

The first 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner participated in the show to find love among 22 women. Originally from Indiana where he lives in his dream house on a beautiful lake, he decided to move further South.
Before stepping in the reality TV world he was a restaurateur, though he is retired now. He indulges himself in number of hobbies such as pickleball and golf. He loves hosting barbeque dinners, with his family and friends.
Gerry Turner was previously married to his high school sweetheart Toni in 1974. Toni suddenly fell ill in 2017, six weeks after she retired. Turner said it took him three years and several rounds to the councelor to get over the grief.
Turner raised two daughters Angie and Jenny and has two granddaughters too Charlee and Payton. In fact his daughters had asked him to join the show. However he had two concerns for his dating life one that he would not marry a smoker and second that he would be hesitant to enter a relationship where 'geography' was a issue.
Gerry is all set to marry Theresa Nist in a ceremony that would be aired live in January 4, 2024 on 8 pm ET in ABC.

From the town of Shrewsbury, New Jersey, Theresa Nist is a 70 year old woman. She is a loving, family and community oriented woman.
She is a finance services professional and worked at TFS Financial Services. She also has a keen interest in trading and stock market.
Theresa likes to share family pictures, her plants, her garden and sweet instances of her life on social media. She describes herself as a '70's rock: both soft and hard'. Theresa has a son named Tommy and a daughter named Jenny. She even has six grandchildren in total. She was married to her husband William Nest for 42 years after he passed away in 2014 after a kidney failure.
From her social media posts it is clear that family is certainly very close to her.
From the first episode of 'The Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist shared a beautiful bond, as they share a kiss in the first epsidoe itself. However things weren't as smooth for Theresa as she had a cat fight with Kathy as Kathy got irritated after Theresa went on and on about her sweet moments with Gerry.
Gerry Turner chose Theresa Nist over the other women, and proposed to her with a dazzling diamond ring to which Theresa said 'Yes'.
