Zack Snyder is the buzz on social media ever since WB revealed plans for a 'Man of Steel' sequel. While some are fully in favor of having Snyder return and reunite with Henry Cavill, some are happy to pass on that offer. Earlier, reports of WB having "an intense desire" to reprise Cavill's version of the hero did the rounds.

'Man of Steel' was a mixed outing for Snyder and Henry Cavill. While the film did receive praise and new fans, it also lost some of the fanatic Superman fans in its quest to give a different take on the character. Currently, the film has an acceptable 56% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This number is a lot better compared to the two other films that have Superman appearing— 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' (28%) and 'Justice League' (40%).

'Black Adam' LEAKS: Does Henry Cavill have a new suit in the film?

"zack snyder shouldnt come anywhere near DC unless he has someone who actually understands/cares about the characters cause he sure doesn't," one of the tweets read. "It's not happening guys. Zach Snyder is booked to the teeth with his AOTD and Rebel Moon franchises at Netflix. WB has said time after time they are not bringing him back, it's especially not happening after all the drama the Snyder Cut brought them," a fan remarked.

"I'd doubt he would want anything to do with WB, they kind of treated him like trash (at least, that's what I have read and obviously there is a little more behind the scenes that the public doesn't know, but it's still obvious something bad happened between him and the company)," a fan said. "Nope! We need a new direction for Superman," a tweet said. However, there were certain sections of fans who felt Snyder was perfect to helm the sequel. "I'm down for this. Zack Snyders Justice League is proof of what Snyder can do given freedom to do so," a comment read.

"Hi, big Superman fan. Big DC fan. Loved Man of Steel, want to see Zack Snyder return for a sequel. I would like it to be more hopeful, yes, but I think that would be a natural place for it post the previous story," a fan wrote. "It may not be directed by Zack Snyder but it will have Zack snyders influence. He could be the executive producer or just a consultant. That’s all we need from Snyder because regardless even when he comes back, he won’t be able to do all those projects on his own," a tweet read.
