Is GG okay? 'Doubling Down With the Derricos' star thanks fans for their prayers
For the Derricos, family comes above all else. Even though taking care of 14 children is no walk in the park, Karen and Deon put their kids above all else, and it shows, each of the children is on the path to becoming thoughtful individuals. And Karen and Deon aren't the only ones to thank for that, as credit also goes to the children's grandmother, GG.
The past few episodes of Season 3 have not been easy on the Derricos or fans. With a mass collapsing a part of her lung, GG was back to taking a form of chemo to get better. While the journey has been far from easy for her, she has been determined to fight cancer, seeing that she wants nothing more than to watch her grandchildren grow.

With Deon at her beck and call, the entire family took it upon herself to show GG just how much she is loved. From a special sleepover spa day to Valentine's day Hawaii-themed party, the Derricos pulled out all the stops to show GG how important she was to them. The kids even wrote and produced a song just for her, which had GG emotional, but gave her the strength to fight harder. Fans were touched by the season finale and hoped that the Derrico matriarch would make a full recovery.

With the season coming to an end, there is an update on how GG is currently doing. She and Deon took to Instagram earlier in May to talk to fans and thank them for all their love, prayers and support. She urged fans to stop worrying, as she had faith in their prayers.
