Keeping the romance alive is vital when it comes to staying happily married. It keeps things exciting and certainly helps maintain the chemistry between a couple. Having kids can often dull that spark, seeing that a lot of time and energy goes into caring for family instead of working on a relationship.

Karen and Deon are absolutely dedicated parents when it comes to all 14 of their children. While they are not shy about using all the help they can get, they also don't shy away from being vocal and affectionate in front of their children, setting a good example of a healthy relationship. And now, it looks like Deon is all set to take it up a notch!

'Doubling Down With the Derricos': Fans confused as Karen hides pregnancy from mother

For Deon and Karen, the first time around, it was a rushed affair when they tied the knot. As they explained it, Karen was pregnant with Darian at the time, and the couple tied the knot post-haste. However, Karen never left the hope of having a dream wedding and it looks like it paid off. Deon planned everything to have the couple renew their vows, right from GG curating the wedding gowns for Karen to having her officiate the wedding. Karen's mother and aunt were there as well.

Even GG noted that this way was special to her, seeing that the first time, the couple got married, and she was unable to be there. For her, Karen was the daughter she never had and thus wanted nothing but the best for her. With all of their children participating in the ceremony, it was a truly magical moment for the couple. Deon got emotional as he saw Karen walking down the aisle, and the two renewed their wows.

They even jumped over the broom, a tradition that dates back to when Black people working on plantations weren't allowed to wed. As Deon explained to his kids, it was important for them to honor such traditions. The day ended on a magical note, with Deon and Karen both agreeing that they had created a beautiful moment for their children, something that they would look back on and fondly remember.

Season 3 of 'Doubling Down With the Derricos' airs on TLC on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET.
