When MTV first aired 'Ex on the Beach', the audience was instantly drawn to the new dating show with a twist. Fans couldn't get enough of watching their favorite reality stars air out their dirty laundry to the world.

After five successful seasons, it looks like the network decided to switch things up a bit to make it more interesting on the upcoming Season 6 of 'Ex on the Beach'. When is 'Ex on the Beach' Season 6 airing?

After the smashing success of the previous seasons of 'Ex on the Beach', MTV renewed the popular dating show for two more seasons. The fifth season premiered on March 31, 2022. While the release date for season 6 of 'Ex on the Beach' hasn't been announced yet, it might be slated for release in early 2023.

What is 'Ex on the Beach' Season 6 all about?

After casting popular reality stars from other shows like 'Love Island', 'The Challenge', etc, the network decided to switch things up by inviting "civilian couples" to audition for season 6 instead of celebrity singles! So it looks like the usual format of 10 famous singles looking for some romance on a vacation being abused by their exes might not be the storyline of the upcoming season.

As per the show's casting call, for season 6 the showrunners are looking to cast civilian couples who have an ex in their life that won't go away! While the new season's format sounds a lot like TLC's hit show 'You, Me & My Ex', we can't wait to learn more details about the new season's format.
