'DWTS' Horror Night: Jimmie Allen gets first 10, fans say his dance was 'incredible'
TRICK OR TREAT! It's a treat this time as 'Dancing With The Stars' graces our screens once again with dancers getting in the mood for Halloween. The ABC dance reality series gets more exciting each week as contestants do their utmost best to emerge at the top of the leaderboard.
Among those fighters is platinum country singer Jimmie Allen who puts an immense amount of heart into his performances. Paired with Emma Slater he danced the foxtrot to “Sandy" for Grease Night and came out with a score of an impressive 34 out of 40. For Horror Night, he and Slater danced the Contemporary to “Say Something” by Daniel Jang inspired by the movie 'A Quiet Place'. Read on to what audiences and judges thought of the routine.

The father-of-three talked about his love for his kids and how protecting them comes above everything. Relating to the movie he tried to channel those emotions. Pro Emma also incorporated ASL into the performance as the song would have no lyrics and the characters in 'A Quiet Place' use ASL to communicate. The duo put up a hauntingly beautiful routine that everyone adored. Judge Len loved it saying the dance had control, emotion, held attention and that he danced just right to some really tricky music. He scored him a 9. Judge Bruno said Allen was the character and that he loves it and brought the movie to life. He also gave him a 9. Judge Derek told him he portrayed the story of sacrifice with the beautiful routine. He went on to say it had great storytelling and thanked him for a great dance, scoring him a perfect 10. Judge Carrie Ann said Allen truly understood the power of dance and thanked him for an amazing performance as well. She gave a 10 as well. This brought his total for the night to an amazingly high 38 out of 40. Allen was clearly overcome by the emotion of the performance and teared up at the end of it. This routine also gave him his first 10 of the season! Here's how fans reacted.
