'MAFS' Season 17 stars Brennan Shoykhet and Emily Balch accused each other of cheating

DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Brennan Shoykhet was with Emily Balch when she sustained injuries from the terrifying ATV accident. He held Emily's hand while the Lifetime show production crew called the emergency services. He accompanied Emily to the hospital and took good care of her. However, Brennan continuously claimed that he 'saved' Emily's life but the reality star and the viewers think anybody could have done the same thing for their wife.

In the recent episode, Brennan met his Lifetime show friends, Austin Reed, Orion Martzloff and Michael Shiakallis and his side of the story amid Emily's multiple accusations. He shared, "So accusation one.. I asked her to delete a diary cam." He elaborated, I'm pretty sure anyone on the planet if they see their significant other talking immense amount of s**t about them on national TV, you might feel the same way, 'Hey look, why are we airing our dirty laundry.'"

Brennan claimed that he told Emily to save the videos on her phone for the records but she happily deleted them. The reality star then addressed the double date accusation and claimed that Clare Kerr misinterpreted the narratives and Emily believed her. Brennan noted, "If you wanna call me a bad guy for all those accusations, after everything I've done. Saving her life and being there for her. Those are your takeaways... I have no words."

However, the viewers called out Brennan over his claims of saving Emily's life. A social media user wrote, "Lmfaooooo Brennan, you didn't save Emily's life. You were there for her but you didn't save her life." Another person added, "Brennan’s still talking about saving Emily’s life like we didn’t all see what happened."

Another critic noted, "Brennan, please stop saying how you saved Emily's life. We saw what happened. Savior complex." Another internet user penned, "The fact that Brennan doesn’t feel deeply embarrassed saying “after everything I did for her, saving her life,” is absolutely wild. Even if he had actually stitched her head up with his own two hands, who tf talks like that?"

Another X user tweeted, "Did Brennan just say that he saved Emily's life? I had to rewind three times and put on closed captioning to be sure that I heard correctly. What a dink." Another viewer said, "Brennan is delusional for claiming he saved Emily's life!!"

Emily Balch and Brennan Shoykhet accused of cheating

'MAFS' Season 17 ex-couple Emily Balch and Brennan Shoykhet have been accused of cheating on each other while they were married. Emily claimed that Brennan was texting other girls and went on double dates when he was with her. Meanwhile, Brennan revealed that Emily hooked up with an Australian guy when she was married to him. However, both Brennan and Emily recently addressed the accusations.

Emily recently clarified in her Instagram Stories that she made out with the Australian guy after she was divorced from Brennan. She also slammed the Lifetime show's editing and claimed that she talked about her hook-up multiple times on camera. Meanwhile, Brennan shared that during After Party, he never went on a double date and it was just a joke. He also that Emily cheated on him and also admitted it to all her friends.

Pasto Cal slams Brennan Shoykhet over his 'BS'

During the Decision Day episode, Pastor Cal called out Brennan Shoykhet over his 'BS'. After Emily Balch accused Brennan of threatening her to delete the diary cams, he tried to defend himself and claimed that keeping certain things private was his way of protecting her.

However, Lifetime show experts Pastor Cal and Dr Pia didn't believe a word and called him out. Pastor Cal told Brennan, "Look... I'm being as respectful as possible, I see BS,” said the expert. “I’m sorry, I do, I’m gonna be straight with you... I see complete BS."

'Married At First Sight' Season 17 airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on Lifetime.
