DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married at First Sight' Season 17 star Emily Balch is currently working as an Account Executive at Gartner for Sales Leaders. She resides in Denver, Colorado.

Emily was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She studied Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Strategic Communications Major and Marketing Minor from Miami University in 2015.

After her graduation, Emily joined CEB, which was recently renamed Gartner, as an Account Management Associate in Chicago. Just after a year, she was promoted to Senior Account Management Specialist.

She is a travel enthusiast and prefers to keep her personal life private including her Instagram account.

Although Emily has achieved milestones in her career, the same cannot be said for her love life. Emily had never been in a serious relationship before getting matched with her 'Married at First Sight' Season 17 partner, Brennan.

In the teaser of the show, Emily shared that she 'hates the dating scene' because she always gets ghosted.

Emily Balch to exchange vows in 'Married at First Sight' Season 17

After getting ghosted multiple times, Emily Balch is all set to have a totally new experience on 'Married at First Sight' Season 17. Emily, 29, who has never been in love or been on many dates, was matched with Brennan.

In the new season of the Lifetime show, Emily will tie the knot, head out on a honeymoon and move in together with her partner Brennan. They will try different activities together for a month and get to know more about each other.

However, at the end of the eight-week social experiment, Emily and Brennan would have to make a decision about whether they want to remain married and start a future together, or get a divorce.

'Married at First Sight' Season 17 star Emily Balch has won many awards

Emily Balch has been working at Gartner since 2015 and achieved success just a year after joining the company. Emily was recognized and rewarded for being one of the top-performing commercial support staff in all market regions.

According to her LinkedIn account, Emily received the Associates' Circle Qualifier award in 2016. Emily has been honored as a Winners Circle Achiever at Gartner since 2019.

During the show, ten singles will get matched with a partner and married upon meeting their future spouse. During the 8 weeks, most pairs will travel for their honeymoon and live together as husband and wife.

At the end of the period, the couples will have to decide if they want to stay married or go their separate ways.

'Married at First Sight' Season 17 premieres on Wednesday, October 18, at 8 pm ET on Lifetime.
