DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 bride Emily Balch was embarrassed in front of her husband, Brennan Shoykhet and the viewers when the two went on an outdoor date.

During their water skiing date, Emily wore a helmet. However, when she tried to take off the helmet her hair extensions were messed up which prompted the bride to cut her hair short.

Emily continuously referred to her messed up hair as "dreads" and the viewers appeared to be furious with the bride's reference.

A social media user tweeted, "Why the HELL DOES SHE KEEP SAYING SHE HSD DREADS!!!!"

Another person added, "Emily keeps upsetting me and my ancestors every time she incorrectly says she had dreads…that and her conservatism that she likes to bring up constantly on the after party."

Another critic noted, "She really needs to stop saying she has dreads, each time I'm getting exponentially more peeved." Another viewer said, "Annoying that Emily always refers to her hair as dreads!!"

Another X user penned, "Lowkey annoying Emily keep referring to her f****d up a** hair as 'dreads.'" Another internet user called the incident, "Completely cringe."

Another person wrote, "I need this yt girl to stop saying her hair is in dreads with a negative connotation. Your hair being raggedy and matted does not make it dreads."

'MAFS' Season 17 Emily Balch admits to being a 'partygoer'

'MAFS' Season 17 bride Emily Balch appeared to be enthusiastic and a "partygoer" which was evident in her bachelorette party. However, in a recent episode, she went on a tequila date with her husband Brennan Shoykhet.

The newlywed couple took down shots and seemed to have a really good time. However, Emily admitted to being quite the partier in college, which isn’t surprising considering how deftly she handles her boozes.

Meanwhile, Brennan admitted that he liked to have fun but wouldn't call himself a big partier. Additionally, Brennan admitted he was thrilled with the boozy date but also hoped he wouldn’t puke.
