FOXFIELD, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Emily Balch suffered a serious head injury after she fell from a quad bike. Emily and her husband Brennan Shoykhet decided to have an adventurous quad bike ride through the forest.

The couple were enjoying their bike rides with Brennan driving in the lead. Emily was quite close behind her husband as the duo traveled over bumpy, winding dirt paths through the snowy hills. Emily and Brennan smiled and yelled with excitement as they tore over the bumpy paths.

During the ride, Emily's bike suddenly flipped in a dramatic crash leading to a life-threatening head injury. Brennan and the camera crew pushed their bikes and rushed to Emily. The Lifetime show star's face was covered in blood from a sizable head wound.

Brennan tried to stop the bleeding as best he could while production called emergency services. However, the episode ended with Emily on the way to the hospital. Emily's head injury caused concern among viewers and they prayed for her recovery.

'MAFS' Season 17 star Brennan Shoykhet was by his wife Emily Balch's side during the tragic accident. He held Emily's hand supportively as they waited for paramedics to arrive at the spot. Emily was concerned about her injury and asked Brennan, "Am I going to be OK?"

Brennan assured his wife, "You're gonna to be alright." He gripped Emily's hand and held a compress against her head wound despite the trouble in their marriage. Brennan and Emily also notably spent the night in separate rooms during their stay at the couple's retreat.

Additionally, the preview of the upcoming episode teased that Brennan was at the hospital to support his wife. He said in the confessional, "I'm just praying and hoping everything is ok. But I'm here in sickness and in health."

'MAFS' Season 17 star Emily Balch shades Clare and Cameron

'MAFS' Season 17 star Emily Balch and Clare Kerr have developed a close friendship which seemed to fizzle out during the 'After Party'. In the previous episode, Emily called out Clare and Cameron Frazer over their marriage. She claimed that she was not the only one getting friend-zoned in her marriage.

Emily shared that Cameron had already "friend-zoned" Clare. She said, "Clare and I are realizing, like we’re both getting this 'friend talk.'" She added, "When Clare’s kinda telling me, 'Cam and I are friends too,' I'm like, are you? Where the f**k is Cam? He just left you! Has he texted you?"

Emily also revealed that Cameron confided in Brennan and called Clare 'annoying' because she called him and wanted to see him after their split. She added, "We're finding similarities in the way our husbands are treating us."
