DENVER, COLORADO: In the upcoming dramatic week of 'Married At First Sight' Season 17, as the couple approaches Decision Day, Brennan Shoykhet and Emily Balch, who grew closer dealing with trauma after a terrifying ATV accident, face turmoil. Recent revelations suggest Brennan allegedly cheated on Emily despite their budding romance.

In the preview, Brennan and Emily's dinner date escalates into a heated argument. The couple toasts, "Cheers to making it to this point," but tensions rise when Brennan mentions a deal-breaker about positivity. Emily, teary-eyed, questions, "What do you mean? There is no negativity." Brennan coldly replies, "I'm just trying to be honest."

Later, Emily seeks solace from her friend Clare Kerr, who delivers devastating news. Clare discloses that Brennan has been dating other people while still married. She said, "I've heard through the grapevine that he wanted to go on a double date with Cameron and that he is going on dates."  Emily was stunned and broke down in tears amid Clare's shocking revelation.

However, viewers were also stunned by the shocking revelation. A social media user said, "Wait...did the previews just show Claire telling Emily that Brennan has been going on dates next week??" Another person added, "Brennan was going on double dates with Cam while married."

Brennan Shoykhet accused of hooking up with production member

Brennan Shoykhet faced accusations of a romantic involvement with a production member from  a Lifetime show. According to a Facebook user, the production member was allegedly fired from 'MAFS' Season 17 due to an affair with a cast member. The user mentioned, "They filmed at one of our restaurants' locations in Arvada... Let's just say there's some dramaaaaaa this season." and added, "Like production members losing their jobs for hooking up with the cast."

Another social media user mentioned, "Some of our staff had to sign NDAs but our manager didn't and that's what he told me." On Reddit, multiple users claimed the cast member involved was Brennan. The rumors gained more traction after the preview hinted at a cheating scandal.

'MAFS' Season 17 star Emily Balch reaches breaking point

In a previous episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, Emily Balch reached her breaking point in her marriage with Brennan Shoykhet. During a call with her close friend, she expressed, "It's just hard when you're dealing with someone who does not want to be portrayed at all bad on camera."

Emily's friend, expressing concern, bluntly remarked, "Well, then, maybe he should be less of a d**k." Despite Brennan desire for a friendly relationship. Emily aimed to ignite romance. 

The show's therapist criticized Brennan for friend-zoning his wife, stating, "This is not Friends at First Sight." Pastor Cal added, "That’s a cop-out." Emily argued that Brennan was initially okay with her until her behavior clashed with the "image he is trying to have portrayed on camera."
