Emmys 2024 full winners list: 'Succession' and 'The Bear' share the lead with six wins each
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The three-hour live coverage of the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, which are taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, begins at 8 pm ET (5 seven o'clock PT) on Fox. The television celebration was postponed four months due to the Hollywood strikes, which shut down the industry and caused award show producers to reschedule their events.
Tonight's ceremony celebrated shows that aired between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023. HBO dominated the nominations this year, with three of its programs receiving the most: 'Succession' (27), 'The Last of Us' (24), and 'The White Lotus' (23).
With 21 nominations in all, Apple TV+'s 'Ted Lasso' dominated the comedy categories. The Television Academy gave out over 100 TV honors last weekend during two Creative Arts Emmy honors events.
'Succession' led the way with 27 nominations for its fourth and final season, winning the prestigious prize for best drama series for the third time. Kieran Culkin, Matthew Macfayden, and Sarah Snook also won Emmys for their roles in the show.
Netflix's 'Beef' received numerous accolades, including outstanding limited or anthology series, and FX's 'The Bear' won the best comedy series.
'The Last of Us' has already won eight Emmys ahead of Monday's broadcast.
