Marvel adds 'Succession' actor Matthew Macfadyen to 'Deadpool 3'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Every fan is gearing up to see what is coming next in MCU Phase 5. As we know the first film in the phase was Paul Rudd starrer 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,' which was released in February 2023, additionally the first series in the phase will be 'Secret Invasion,' which is set for release in June 2023. However, fans are more excited for Phase 6, as they feel the "good stuff" is just a year away. The first film in the phase will be 'Deadpool 3,' which is scheduled for release in November 2024. It looks a little too late right now, isn't it? But don't worry as we got some new tea to spill about the Ryan Reynolds starring movie.
But before that, let's talk about the fact that this will be the third film of Reynolds which is helmed by Shawn Levy. He had previously worked with Reynolds on 'Free Guy' and 'The Adam Project,' and was revealed as the film's director last year, with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning to write the screenplay. Nevertheless, previously the 'Deadpool 2' sequel was supposed to release in September 2024, but the film was later delayed to November 8, 2024, taking over the original release date of the MCU 'Fantastic Four' reboot.

Matthew Macfadyen ready to join 'Deadpool 3'
As per Deadline, Matthew Macfadyen joined the cast in a mystery role in his first project after 'Succession' with its upcoming final season. The actor joins stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Emma Corrin in the third film, which also marks the first official entry in the 'Deadpool' series to release as a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Previous entries held a firm R-rating, which led to some concerned fans who worried the next film would lack the same violence as the first two. However, Disney and Marvel have confirmed they will maintain their R-rating.
The cast of MCU's 'Deadpool 3'
Apart from starring Reynolds and Jackman as 'Deadpool' aka Wade Wilson and 'Wolverine' aka Logan, respectfully, the film's additional cast has remained mysterious. Some fans believed that Corrin's role, which has been confirmed as the villain, might be Danger. However, this was later debunked, leaving her actual character still a mystery. Patrick Stewart may also appear in 'Deadpool 3,' as the actor hinted at his potential return as Professor X. "I've been told to standby," he said. "I know nothing more than that, honest." Another report indicated that 'Loki's Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Miss Minutes (Tara Strong) would also appear in the film, as 'Deadpool' has a run-in with the TVA.
