Why is 'Below Deck' not airing this week?

'Below Deck' has gone on a week-long break for the Holidays. You can catch up on all the action aboard My Seanna when it returns on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 9/8c on Bravo.

What to expect when 'Below Deck' returns?

Get ready to be at the edge of your seats next week when 'Below Deck' returns with an all-new episode 10. The upcoming episode will pick up from right where it left off. Chef Rachel Hargrove continues to struggle with the primary charter guests' many demands. Chelsea and her husband hired the yacht to celebrate her birthday. But unfortunately, right before their luxury vacation Chelsea met with a bike accident that left her with her mouth wired shut by the doctors. Despite her accident, Chelsea and her husband decided to carry on with their vacation plans and came on the yacht. Chelsea explained to Rachel that she needed her food to be pureed and served to her as she's on liquid diet. She also demanded that she be served the same food as the other guests.

We already got a peek of Rachel's struggles when she tried blending and pureeing lobsters for Chelsea. Unfortunately for Rachel, despite all the troubles that she's going through to accommodate her guests's requests, Chelsea doesn't seem to be pleased with the delay in serving her food and has had hunger-fuelled meltdowns. So get ready to watch some more drama courtesy of Chelsea's temper tantrums. Heather and Fraser Olender continue to struggle to get all the work done without the help of this stew. The episode also teases some drama with Heather, as it mentions the chief stew's past actions throwing her into a spiral. Does this mean that her usage of the N-word will finally be addressed by Captain Lee? We will just have to wait and watch. The interior team isn't the only team that's struggling, even the deck crew is having a hard time under the leadership of Jake and Eddie Lucas. We can't wait to watch how things go down on this extremely challenging charter for the My Seanna Crew.

'Below Deck' Season 9 returns on Monday, January 3, 2022, after a week-long break at 9/8c on Bravo.
