Although working on a luxury yacht might look all fun-filled with hobnobbing with rich guests, traveling to exotic locations, and very generous tip money at the end of each charter, what many people don't realize is that it's a lot of hard work that goes behind the scenes. 'Below Deck' Season 9's third stew Jessica Albert learned this the hard way.

After taking a break for a few years from the yachting life and spending time with her family and loves ones, Jess felt like she was ready to dip back her toes into the yachting life. So, she applied for the position of a stewardess on the mega luxury yacht My Seanna and landed the position of the third stew under chief stew Heather Chase. Jess came in expecting that the work wouldn't be so taxing and that she would get to enjoy her job. Unfortunately for her, that wasn't the case. Her moping behavior and attitude didn't sit well with her team members- Heather and Fraser Olender. Although Jess did every task assigned to her, Heather always felt that it was short of the mark and kept critiquing it. This kept ticking off Jess, so on the recently aired episode of 'Below Deck' she pulled Heather aside and announced her decision to quit her job.

In her green room interview, Jess explained how the job was "extremely taxing" on her body and that she didn't expect it to be so hard on her both physically and mentally. She revealed that she felt like how Martha Stewart might have felt when she was in prison while working on the yacht. Even though she was aware that she was leaving the crew team high and dry by leaving just three hours before the next charter, she felt that it was the right decision as she has to prioritize her well-being over anything else.

So after sharing her decision to leave with Heather, jess quickly packed her stuff and left the yacht without telling goodbye to anyone. Fans were not pleased with Jess' abrupt departure and called her out for not saying goodbye to Captain Lee Rosbach either. A fan tweeted, "I absolutely understand why Jess left, but it was poor form not to say goodbye to Captain Lee. #BelowDeck." Another fan wrote, "Pretty sh*tty of Jess to leave without saying anything to @capthlr. No thank you, you suck, this sucks??? Weirdo. She's not a 50 year old woman. What do you mean?! #BelowDeck." "Bye, Jess, don’t forget to take all your boring with you. #BelowDeck," commented a fan

Another fan shared, "Now I feel gleeful that Jess bounced #BelowDeck." "Jess could’ve said something a little sooner though. Quitting a couple hours before charter was not cool #BelowDeck," pointed out a fan. "Hmm. Jess was legitimately such a waste of time and television. Good riddance. #BelowDeck," declared a fan.
