The “eight makes one team” is back with a speedy comeback soon after the release of their last album, ‘Zero: Fever Part 3’ which dropped less than three months ago. The double title track ‘Zero: Fever’ series has been a hit among fans and the K-pop boy band have brought the series to a fitting and expected grand ending. Ateez released the ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’ with a pre-release title track, ‘Turbulence’ on  December 3 that became the group’s 'fastest music video,' crossing 10 million views less than 17 hours after its release.

Ateez did not stop there. They followed the success of ‘Turbulence’ (also known as Night Flight) by releasing their eighth mini-album, ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’ with the title track, ‘The Real’ (Heung Ver.) on December 10 which topped that record by amassing 10 million-plus views on its music video in under 16 hours of its release.

Ateez’s immense selling power

From the very start, Ateez recorded unusual sales for the album as they sold 178,928 copies within the first day of its release. This insane selling power of the group landed Ateez on the Number One spot on Hanteo’s Daily Album Sales Chart, as of December 10. The record also broke Ateez’s previous highest record of selling almost 156,000 copies on the first day of the release from their sixth mini-album, ‘Zero: Fever Part 2’ that was released back in March 2021.

Ateez is showing extreme success as they also channeled their immense selling power as the group sold out all twelve locations from their upcoming world tour - ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’ that will kickstart in Seoul, South Korea on January 7, 2022, and then move on to international locations — crisscrossing cities in the US as well as Europe. The hectic world tour will end in March 2022.

Ateez dominates worldwide charts

While Ateez is channeling their immense selling power, the group is also charting worldwide as the group topped the iTunes Top Album Chart as well as iTunes Worldwide Album Chart in 23 countries including Brazil, Egypt, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. In addition to that, all the songs from the album ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’ entered real-time Korean charts like Bugs. The title track, ‘The Real' (Heung Version), in particular, ranked first on the real-time chart from Bugs and Naver Vibe.

Not only that, the album ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’ also put Ateez at number 9 on ‘2021 World's Most Tweeted K-Pop Artist’ list. Atinys (the Ateez fandom) have shown that they can repeatedly help the members of the group break their own pre-set records as the boys retraced their journey of youth with the culmination of ‘Zero: Fever’ series.

The ten-track album embodies Ateez’s unique worldview while the boys give their first performance of ‘The Real’ (Heung Ver.) at the 2021 MAMA while member Wooyoung also participated in a special collab stage with fellow fourth-gen idols.
